About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability for walks and drop ins! I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). For pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.
About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! About: I’ve been around dogs all my life and I’ve cared for friends and family’s dogs/animals for just as long! I’m the one people call with confidence to watch/take care of their pets. I love them like my own and want them and to have the best experience possible! I’m a dog groomer, but I am looking to do this as a part time job. About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. I have also pet-sit for friends and family all my life. I truly love animals. I go in with this mindset: how would I want others to treat my home-space and my own pet? My aim is that you can travel with a peaceful certainty your pet will be showered with love and attention, and you don't have to worry. I genuinely love animals, and as an introvert, I spend most of my free time with them whenever I can. My schedule is very flexible. I make my own hours with my online work, and I am usually available for sitting anytime. My summer sitting schedule is open, and as a newbie to this site, I'm looking forward to doing a really good job at a reasonable starting rate. (So far I've had a great experience). About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

I have over 20 years working in the veterinary field as well as growing up on a farm, taking care of many different animals. (In which I still live) I absolutely love animals! I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
