But, when Clyde arrived home after three weeks at Michael’s home, he looked like just been on the best vacation ever. Michael obviously found the right balance of exercise, rest and medication for our arthritic C,lyde. Michael also updated us with photos and stories of their foothill hikes. He even wrote to tell us to pass along the message to our daughter that Clyde was such a good dog and was doing so well. My daughter adores her dog and the messages and photos made her so happy. About: I grew up with animals my entire life (dogs, cats, horses), and I finally got my own dog this year, a loving and friendly golden retriever. I still love to petsit for others. I have done pet sitting through rover for 6+ years and I have experience with horses through my childhood. I cleaned a horse barn every weekend during highschool and learned how to handle them. I’ve worked for veterinarians, and used to breed/show Rhodesian Ridgebacks, then discovered to joys of rescuing adult dogs. I’ve also owned 3 wolf dogs so I’m good with all sorts of behavior issues and the gentle ways to address them. I’d love to offer a great holiday for your dogs while your away on your vacation. I have a 3 story house on 5 unfenced acres with a 50 x 50 fenced area, bordering blm by the Carson River. I have no problem with leash or off leash (after evaluation) and look forward to meeting you. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with dog sitters who promised to walk my dogs daily- and each took my dogs for a walk once in 3 weeks-this won’t happen at my house since I love to get out! If you have multiple dogs, I’m your person! Just a bigger excuse to work out! Rest assured, your active dog will be taken care of, or your older dog will be cherished in my home. I have a dog ramp for cars, a handicap ramp for my house, and have used a dog wheel chair and lifting/walking aids . I can handle most medical situations and don’t have problem with “handicap” dogs. I’ve also lived in farms most of my life and am able to care for all your horse and livestock needs. Also good with snakes/reptiles (I currently have 4) fish and birds. I currently work a few hours a day from home, but my priority everyday is an hour plus hike in the blm behind my house and I love bringing dogs with me. I will feed your dog on it’s normal schedule and take them on daily walks on the blm behind my house. Potty breaks are frequent and furniture is open! I have a dog crate if your dog is used to them, and dog beds everywhere.
About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!

We ensure all spaces are clean, secure, and free of hazards, and carefully supervise pets during play, feeding, and walks. We respect household rules, use leashes and safety protocols at all times, and monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health. Our goal is to create a calm, trustworthy environment where pets feel safe, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

About: I have about six years of pet sitting experience, as well as crate training. I am extremely responsible and know that your pet is your baby! I would prefer to watch animals at the owners home as I have two boxers of my own🤗 I’m active and love to go on walks, especially with dogs! I work from home as a Recruiter for a local caregiving agency so I consider myself very flexible and easy to work with. As of right now, I am available anytime of the week and day. Please give me at least a day notice, but I will except last minute request if I can make it happen. Keeping your pet safe, it's my first priority, and will give the same love that he or she will be used to. If, and when you need me to go to your place of residence to watch, I will adhere to any instructions you give me and make sure to accommodate any request you may have.
About: I’ve taken car of dogs and cats quite a few times! I love playing, sleeping, and eating with fur babies. I prefer them more then humans… family and friends have relied on me to take care of their loved animals and I take it very seriously. I’m an CNA at an assisted living, so my shifts start really early in the am and I have afternoons wide open. I’m also in nursing school so it’ll be nice to hangout with the fur babies! Even if it’s doing potty breaks or walking! I live in a studio apartment and it doesn’t have a big yard so I’d prefer to housesit. It’s easier for the animals being in their own environment. I’m really good at following directions, going out on walks, or if they need someone to hangout with.
