“Everything about my dog’s stay was excellent—Colby and David have a well-organized approach to Rover stays, which gave me peace of mind from the meet and greet to pickup. I usually travel with my dog, and I haven’t been away from him this long before (10 days), so while he’s pretty easy-going, I wanted him in capable hands because I’d be across the country. I got frequent photo and video updates, and didn’t realize how reassuring the video clips would be. I could relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dog was happy and playing, so don’t underestimate the value of those check-ins. They also have a turf area for the dogs that won’t get muddy or too dusty depending on the season, and they are alert to dog body language and temperament enough to accurately predict if dogs will get along. My dog loves to play with other herding dogs, so them having a frequent herding dog visitor was a treat for my pup. Communication was timely and they were flexible when pickup and drop-off needed to shift a little. They are a homeschool family, so someone is usually home except when the kids have activities. That’s a major reason why I prefer to board with a family—a lot of kennels leave dogs unattended overnight, which I find unsafe. Knowing he’s home with a family puts me at ease. While no emergencies happened while my dog was there, they are the kind of people you’d trust to do the right thing if need be. Even though they live about 30 minutes from me, I will definitely board with them again and recommend them to my friends. They clearly love dogs and enjoy having them around. If I lived closer, I’d definitely consider some daycare visits so he could get some more play time. Even if they cost a little more, it’s 100% worthwhile for the peace of mind, and I say that as someone who doesn’t have extra money. About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!

“Dylhan was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. She cared for my babies like they were her own (and her little puppers are so cute and happy!). This was the first time one of my dogs was away from me and he had a great time until the very end while I got to meet the puppies and talk more with Dylhan. He wanted to keep playing! My anxious dog who has had experience away did great as well. Dyhlan made him comfortable and sent me updates with pictures and videos and cared for him when his anxiety made him nauseous. Absolutely can't recommend them enough and very thankful for their help with caring for my babies!”

She said that was fine and she would work with him. Jill is very calm and definitely knows what she is truth dogs. She has a great fenced in backyard where he can run a play. Jill has two dogs of her own that Odin got a long with pretty darn quick. I would recommend Jill 100%. I’m so happy I found her ❤️”

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.

About: I was always the one growing up that took on the caretaker role when it comes to animals. Making sure all animals are fed and have clean water and bowls. My favorite part of caring for pets is walks and playing with them. When my dog had babies I was there the entire time making sure mama was doing well, giving attention and making sure i could give support when needed. I grew up with multiple dogs at once and I understand it takes time and effort to care for them. I am available after 2pm monday through Fridays and on weekends I am free all day. I am looking for some companionship with cute dogs as I don't own a dog currently. I've done a lot of training with my current dog, and I've actually taken dog first aid classes and been taught how to do CPR on dogs as well as recognizing heat stroke and how to prevent it. I have taken care of elderly pets that needed medication including shots, help walking, and more. As well as puppies and kittens that were being potty and house trained, needed lots of attention. I always communicate with the owners about their pets specific needs, For example if you had a pet that tries to get out of the door making sure I take extra precautions around doors, or if they're dog reactive making sure I'm always giving them as much space as possible even if that means turning around and walking somewhere else instead.

I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. About: Hi! I’m Callie, a 19 year old with a lifelong love for animals and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I grew up showing pigs and rabbits, and helped raise everything from cows and goats to chickens, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even hamsters! I am currently in school at CWI for the medical assistant program, with that I have more time to spend with dogs. “Everything about my dog’s stay was excellent—Colby and David have a well-organized approach to Rover stays, which gave me peace of mind from the meet and greet to pickup. I usually travel with my dog, and I haven’t been away from him this long before (10 days), so while he’s pretty easy-going, I wanted him in capable hands because I’d be across the country. I got frequent photo and video updates, and didn’t realize how reassuring the video clips would be. I could relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dog was happy and playing, so don’t underestimate the value of those check-ins. They also have a turf area for the dogs that won’t get muddy or too dusty depending on the season, and they are alert to dog body language and temperament enough to accurately predict if dogs will get along. My dog loves to play with other herding dogs, so them having a frequent herding dog visitor was a treat for my pup. Communication was timely and they were flexible when pickup and drop-off needed to shift a little. They are a homeschool family, so someone is usually home except when the kids have activities. That’s a major reason why I prefer to board with a family—a lot of kennels leave dogs unattended overnight, which I find unsafe. Knowing he’s home with a family puts me at ease. While no emergencies happened while my dog was there, they are the kind of people you’d trust to do the right thing if need be. Even though they live about 30 minutes from me, I will definitely board with them again and recommend them to my friends. They clearly love dogs and enjoy having them around. If I lived closer, I’d definitely consider some daycare visits so he could get some more play time. Even if they cost a little more, it’s 100% worthwhile for the peace of mind, and I say that as someone who doesn’t have extra money. Much care and planning has gone into their set up which includes several separated fenced yards plus an enclosed gated entry to ensure dogs can't escape while others come and go! Michelle analyzes temperament and abilities for either playing together or keeping separate, as well as filling requests. We feel very comfortable returning Abbie to their capable hands as well as recommending them to care for your fur baby. You won't be disappointed!”

Our two dachshunds spent over a week in the loving care of Colleen’s family while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our dogs were treated like royalty. They stayed right in the house with the family, cuddled on the couch, sat on their laps, and even got to sleep with Colleen’s wonderful son. It was clear they were loved and cared for as if they were part of the family. Throughout our vacation, Colleen sent us photos and updates of our dogs, which gave us such peace of mind.
