“Absolutely amazing! I worry about my geriatric lab who has separation anxiety. Amy sent messages multiple times a day with photos checking in with how things are going right down to potties, walks and medicine. I 100% vouch for her and highly recommend.”

“We were a little nervous leaving our babies with a family they have never met before but we we’re so comfortable and new our girls were in good hands. They are a beautiful family and we will definitely be using the service again. Thank you so much !”

“This was our 3rd time using Rover - 1st time with Bob & Vicky. We will never leave Harley & Fletcher with anyone else! Sitting for a rambunctious puppy and senior dog at the same time is not for the faint of heart! They loved all the walks and play time with Jax. Multiple pics & videos each day showed us that our pups were having fun and comfortable. It made our week away so much more relaxing ? Thanks so much Bob & Vicky!”

“Tasha and Matt were absolutely amazing! From the meet-and-greet to drop-off and pickup, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease. Tasha was prompt, communicative, and kept us updated throughout our dog’s stay with lots of photos and messages. It was clear that our dog was getting plenty of love, attention, and excellent care, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We’ve used several Rover sitters in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Tasha and Matt truly went above and beyond, and we felt confident that our dog was in the best hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and are already looking forward to using them in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Our puppies have such a good time at Melissa’s. It makes it easier to leave them when they are so excited to see her. Thank you for taking such good care of Cooper & Sandy. 💕”

“Karen is the most amazing pet lover! She took fabulous care of Emmie! We felt very confident in having her take care of our dog. They both hit it off when we first met! Daily we received a picture or a video complete with details about how well it was going! We highly recommend Karen! She included a sweet picture magnet of our dog for our fridge at home!”

“Took our big pup in last minute so we could go out of town for the weekend. She sent pictures and videos. Stuff was ready when we picked her up and she was happy and tired from getting to play with the other pups. Looks like she had a fun weekend! Thank you!”

“Christopher, thank you so much for taking care of Wyatt this last week and for all the daily pics and updates. I feel like he really loved his time with you and your pets. It was probably a much more social environment for him that has been a positive experience for him. Thank you!”

“Michelle was a total lifesaver. I was already out of state when the other sitter (who is thought was a friend) backed out of watching him, not even 36 hrs into the stay. She claimed he attacked her kid unprovoked, and attacked her dog unprovoked. I knew that I wasn't getting the whole story or I was just getting lies- she even left a dent and a scratch on my car to out of spite. But Michelle came in a blazing glory. She went an picked up Axle and other was such a perfect fit. Even when my pup Supermanned over a baby gate, she didn't fuss, just came up with a solution to the problem. Michelle is the sweetest. I will definitely be going back to her every year on my out of state trips. I can't recommend her enough. Sent me pictures amd updates everyday, and didn't get annoyed by how many times I checked in with Axle. It was 100% last minute boarding, and she pulled through!”

“Thanks for taking such great care of Buster! Lerin was super easy to communicate with from initial contact, meet and greet, stay and pickup. She made it very easy. Her dogs were a a great match for Buster. He was in a great mood when we got him. Would highly recommend!”

“Karin and fam do a great job caring for our Doodle. I love the photos I get with the dog and the kids in them, they make me smile and I can tell by the photos Kitty is happy! Thank you Karin!”

“Rebecca is such a sweet and genuine soul who our boys love to see when she lets them out in the middle of the day! She is punctual, respectful, great with our pups, sends pics, thorough updates, and is just a wonderful person all around! Highly recommend!”

“Dawn takes care of my Belgian Malinois who can be difficult. She is great and I never have to worry about my pup while I’m out of town. She’s always on time and has no problem dealing with this tough dog. She will be my go-to from now on.”

“Taylor was such a great and tremendous help while we were out of town a few days! We missed our pups and Taylor was excellent being on time and sharing each and every scheduled visit with us! When we arrived home the dogs were so happy and well taken care of. Taylor was so kind towards the high energy our Maverick has too. We are so happy and pleased and cannot thank Taylor enough!”

“First time meeting Beverly was amazing. Our cat Bella is very shy. Bella came out while we were talking and was looking at Bev, taking it all in. It was such a comfort to have Bev here with Bella. I was more relaxed knowing Bella wasn't alone. The house was immaculate. Bella's bathroom was clean. Beverly is just a wonderful and caring woman. She is a keeper. My husband and I highly recommend Beverly.”

“Sage did a great job checking in on our cat for 5 mornings in a row! She did everything we asked of her. She was very punctual by checking in with us each morning. And left us a picture each day. My cat unfortunately had other things on his mind. He was playing hard to get. As Sage came by early each morning, he was either still out hunting, or was hiding in his secret place. She said she only caught a glimpse of him one morning, and was too fast for her to get a picture of him. But she was patient with him. She added a few treats to his bowl of food each morning in order to see if he was eating. He was defiantly eating his treats, and his food. I think he was just being shy, as this was only the second time we've hired a cat sitter. We also opted to have him stay outside the whole time we were gone. As he is mostly an outdoor cat, and the weather was mild the whole time. Once we returned home, he was in our back yard, and came running when we called him. He was in happy spirits, and glad to see us!”

“Krys was awesome! She sent a lot of photos and videos so that I could relax knowing my cats were well taken care of. It was evident in the videos that my cats really liked Krys and felt calm and comfortable around her. I would recommend Krys to everyone!”

“Kayla did an excellent job and we would be happy to book her again. She is reliable, and followed all our instructions. We loved the daily updates with pictures. Pleasant and easy to communicate with. Thank you so much Kayla for coming out to meet us a second time to get the key.”

About: I've had many cats over the years. What inlove most about cats are their independence...they do whatever they want whenever they want, and they always are the boss of the house! I have experience with senior cats as well as having bottled fed newborns.
About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life! From barn animals, to dogs, ferrets and more! I enjoy and love them all! 🫶🏻 I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have years of experience with dogs, cats, horses, and even bunnies. I’m a total dog lover and have two of my own—Dixie the golden retriever and Jack the borgi, who we rescued when they were just one year old. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I truly enjoy. My goal is to love on your pets the way you want, and I believe there’s no such thing as too much info when it comes to their routines, quirks, or needs—so share it all with me! I do work a 9–5 job (sometimes weekends too), but I’m always happy to work with you and rearrange my schedule as much as possible. At the end of the day, I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are safe, happy, and cared for like family. I like to meet you and your furry friend before I commit to taking care of your pet for however long you are needing! This way we can gain trust, learn more about each other and both feel more comfortable. This also helps me get a feel of your home and where certain things are that are needed for your pet, whether that be their dog food, toys, treats, leashes, etc.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats through fostering multiple litters of kittens, including those requiring medication, close health monitoring, and supportive care during illness or recovery. This has given me strong skills in recognizing subtle changes in behavior, appetite, and overall health, which is essential in early detection of issues. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications and providing consistent, attentive care to animals with varying needs. My experience includes bottle feeding young kittens, supporting socialization and development, and maintaining clean, low-stress environments to promote healing and comfort. In addition to fostering, I have experience grooming and handling cats, which has helped me develop a calm, patient approach with animals that may be shy, stressed, or sensitive. I prioritize gentle interaction, routine consistency, and close observation to ensure each cat feels safe and well cared for. What sets me apart is my combination of hands-on medical-style care experience, behavior awareness, and a calm, steady presence with animals that need patience and attention.

About: I have always adopted cats from the pound. The last two cats I had were senior kitties and I miss them dearly. So I appreciate any time spent with cats. I have experience in administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, and giving love and attention!

“Knowing my cats are in Beth’s care always makes trips less stressful! I was thrilled we got her at the last minute this time around because I know she loves my kitties!”

About: Hi, I’m Hailey! I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was little—always rescuing, adopting, or begging my family to let me bring home every creature I found (yes, even bugs and fish!). Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I give my own. My home is full of love and energy. I have an 12 year-old son who is gentle, playful, and absolutely adores animals. I also have a sweet 4 year-old who keeps to herself and doesn’t interact much but loves watching the pets. Rest assured, your furry (or scaly🤪!) friends will be safe, spoiled, and treated like family here. I’m currently looking to do something I genuinely love—helping care for animals—while also earning a little extra to support my family. Your pets will be in loving, responsible hands. I can’t wait to meet them! During the summer, I have open availability, so your pets will have around-the-clock care and attention. I’m home all day and rarely leave except for quick errands. During the school year, I still offer boarding and daytime care—I work very close to home and always come back during lunch to check in. My schedule is flexible and I’m committed to making it work for you and your pets. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. Just let me know when you need care, and I’ll do my best to help however I can. Your pets will be loved, spoiled, and safe here—just like family. We have a big fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, or just relax. I also have friendly dogs who love company, but if your pet prefers space or alone time, I’ll make sure their needs are fully respected. I can easily crate your dog if needed or wanted, but we’re big cuddlers over here and love letting animals sleep with us or on the couch with if that’s something your pet enjoys and that’s something you are okay with. :)

About: I’m reliable, communicative, and great with dogs of all temperaments. I’ll learn their quirks, respect their routine, and yes, probably talk to them like they’re tiny, furry humans. I will make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and entertained—expect plenty of playtime, patience, and the occasional “who’s a good dog?” conversation. I’m a stay-at-home Dad with a friendly standard poodle who loves meeting new friends, and we stay active with three walks a day plus plenty of playtime and attention. I focus on safety, consistency, and trust by maintaining a clean, pet-friendly space and closely monitoring all interactions. Naturally I learned how to care for them and take care of them when they might need something! I prefer the company of animals over humans and have an easy time with getting animals to like me :) Currently not in school/working part-time so I have plenty of time to spare for all things animal related! I’m pretty fast at responding and available every day of my schedule past 3pm. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for fetch as well as a baby-gate blocking the upstairs off so my lovely kitties can have their own part of the house! Can crate your dog/s if/when needed, can clean kitty litters, etc.

About: I don’t have any “professional” experience but my parents have two Bernese mountain dogs and I have dog sat many times before! I enjoy hanging around animals I am currently unemployed, trying to find something new. I wanted to try dog sitting to see if this is something that I could potentially do more often! I will take the dogs on walks, feed, give treats, etc. I’m not sure if I could stay over night at some places - just depends.

About: Hi! I’m Hazel, a senior in high school preparing to head to college. My mom is Patricia and she and I and family team to provide pet services, but I am the main person. I’ve had experience with all kinds of animals, including ducks, chicks, kittens, goats, pigs, and of course dogs. Right now, I have two dogs, Comanche and Chalko, who I’ve raised since they were puppies, as well as a kitten I helped bottle-feed after it was found at a very young age. Taking care of them has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand each animal’s unique personality and needs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I match my care to your loved companion's individual needs. Some dogs love being outside and running around, some love to lay on a dog bed by the fire. I understand some pets are older and need a gentle approach and others are high energy and need lots of movement and interaction. I take careful care that your pet is secured and not able to leave the property. I have a huge fenced yard and a field with ample space which allows your pet to in pet heaven! Its a fun time!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, and more. At one point we even had 7 dogs at once! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients have trusted me with their pets. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs through Rover for over 3 years and truly love what I do. I’ve also spent time learning from professional dog trainers, which helped teach me proper handling, walking, and understanding different dog temperaments and behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, who are now a little older and very used to being around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout their stay. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers, and our home is very dog-friendly and relaxed. We have a fully fenced yard, two friendly dogs, and lots of space for your pup to feel comfortable and at home. About: I’ve grown up around animals and have taken an active role in caring for different animals with various needs. Growing up I have been around Dogs, Cats, Fish, and Rodents. To this day I consistently care for my Dogs, Cats, and Chickens. I understand that animals require empathy and attention. I can handle large dogs down to small critters. I feel comfortable reading an animals body language and being in tune with their needs and vast environments. I work part time, my schedule is not absolute but I typically work Friday-Sunday about 7 hours each day. I am very available during the weekdays however I do have to complete my daily runs every morning. It may be easier to book me after 12:00pm but that is totally negotiable! My two dogs tend to be pretty obnoxious, so I would prefer to care for your pets in their own environment! I can easily navigate new environments and situations with your pets and would love to make them most comfortable.

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.
About: I have been dog sitting off and on for several years-for various animals of all shapes and sizes- cats, a pit bull, mutt, a border collie, and a baby calf. I love and feel comfortable with all animals! I have a flexible schedule, and would love to follow whatever routines you already have with your pet. I also feel comfortable with watering plants or whatever other odd jobs might be needed. They will certainly be given lots of love while I get to spend some time with them! I have a part time job currently, but I have flexibility with my hours. I have my own vehicle and can stop by to visit your pet. I have my own large dog, and am comfortable with the routine of pet care- including daily brushing hair or teeth, feeding schedules, walks, simple training, and dog park visits or outside play time. My dog loves to just snuggle, and so I make time for that as well.

About: For the last 7 and a half years I've been a dog trainer professionally for a local company, I love what I do im hoping I can help you and your pups meet the goals you have. Your animals will always have my attention while in my care, typically my days start at 6 am with the first bathroom opportunity then breakfast given around 7 am after breakfast a potty walk through the neighborhood/ parks. Once back some down time/ play time depending on if your dog is here for training the first training session of the day will take place by 9 am. Lunches dropped between 12 and 1 pm unless spefic time requested. After lunch another potty break before relaxing and other training sessions. Dinner dropped to the dogs around 5 pm with a chance to potty roughly within 20 minutes of eating, around 7 pm last neighborhood walk of the night followed by last training session of the day around 8pm then relaxing and playing until bed time around 10pm with a final chance to go potty before bedtime. ( I will give other chances if unused or seems needed) For boarding dogs i have a fenced yard with a dog door so dogs may come and go when they need if i am o ly watching one at a time, no dogs outside unsupervised or with other dogs especially if they do not know each other. About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. I have a passion for the outdoors, including skiing, hiking, camping, and more! I am also an athlete and love any excuse to get some exercise. ln addition to being outdoors, I love reading, knitting, watching shows, and studying. So, I can watch your furry friend(s) in any way they’d like! Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. My work consisted of walking dogs, petting cats, creating enrichments, and cleaning kennels. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. My friends and family would describe me as kind, passionate, caring, level-headed, reliable, and loving. When around animals, everyone always comments about how the animals gravitate towards me, which I take great pride in. I am thrilled to meet you and your pets. Message me to arrange a meeting. **Schedule** I am hoping to care for your animals in between classes and athletics. Despite my busy schedule, I will be sure to give your furry friend my full attention. **Safety, trust & environment** When with your animals, I will make sure to give them the best care possible, ensuring that I am attentive, loving, and supportive. I know how important mental and physical stimulation is for your furry friends’ well-being, so I will work to make them happy, safe, and comfortable. When in your home, I will treat it with respect and make sure it remains clean.
About: I have years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious and reactive dogs. I previously owned and operated my own dog grooming business, where I learned how to read canine body language, handle dogs safely, and create a calm, low-stress environment. I’ve also spent extensive time studying dog behavior and training methods, and have applied that knowledge raising and socializing my own dogs as well as a litter of puppies using structured development techniques. In addition to dogs, I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens, including those needing medication and close monitoring, so I’m comfortable caring for both young and vulnerable animals. What sets me apart is my ability to truly understand animal behavior—I don’t just supervise pets, I actively observe, anticipate needs, and respond appropriately to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have consistent availability throughout the week. Because I manage my schedule from home, I’m able to provide reliable care, maintain feeding and potty routines, and give pets the attention and supervision they need throughout the day. I plan my days around the animals in my care, ensuring they receive regular exercise, structure, and a calm environment. I’m available for drop-ins, and walks, and I communicate clearly with pet owners to make sure expectations and schedules are met. While I do have some family commitments, I keep a structured and organized routine, which allows me to be dependable and consistent for both pets and their owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining a safe, calm, and consistent environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely to reduce stress, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any specific care instructions provided. I pay close attention to behavior and body language so I can respond appropriately to each pet’s needs. I have experience working with dogs of different temperaments, including those who may be anxious or reactive, and I approach every interaction with patience and awareness. Safety is always a priority. I ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times, and I stay alert during walks to avoid unsafe situations or triggers. I do not allow interactions with unfamiliar dogs unless clearly approved by the owner. I also have experience administering medications and caring for pets that require extra attention, including young animals and those recovering from illness. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care so pets feel comfortable and owners feel confident that their animals are safe and well cared for while they’re away.

“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Amanda is amazing! My two pups love staying at her house. Amanda adores her own dogs and treats them like family, and when my girls were with her they got the same attention, love, and care that she gives her own. I felt VERY comfortable leaving my dogs there for the first time. I knew they were in great hands and were living their best life while I was away. Amanda took them on lots of walks and sent many cute pictures and updates, too. She was also very willing and happy to do things the way our pups are used to at home. Thank you, Amanda! Poppy and Sunny will definitely be staying here again.”
