My dog, Emmett, is 5 yo, new to me, and has not had a lot of variety in his life experiences. He had grown to trust me and was enjoying having a human and a house to live in. I was dreading leaving him anywhere. Upon meeting Michelle at our meet-and-greet, I was immediately confident that Emmett would not only be safe and well cared for, but that he would receive affection and companionship. Michelle really understands dogs and was masterful at actively supervising meetings with each of her dogs, Boots, and Frank. She understood Emmett’s desire to sniff everywhere in her beautiful home and he immediately felt comfortable on her sofa. The large, grassy back yard was immaculate and thoroughly enclosed with tall, wood, non see through fencing. Emmett was instantly enjoying the yard with his new besties, Boots and Frank. I appreciate that Michelle supervises all the dog interactions and even has different zones in her house separated with dog/baby gates in case anyone needs to take a break from the others. I had previously been picky; only choosing sitters that had no dogs of their own and no other boarders at the same time. Because Michelle really understands and manages the dog interactions, however, the fact that she had Boots and Frank, as well as another (repeat) boarder, Brody, enhanced Emmett’s experience. Communications with Michelle were clear and timely and I really loved getting pictures and updates so often. I could tell that Emmett was really enjoying being part of a family of other dogs as well as humans and that he was comfortable and not stressed about being away from me. I will almost certainly plan to book with Michelle again and wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone!”

“Sage did a great job checking in on our cat for 5 mornings in a row! She did everything we asked of her. She was very punctual by checking in with us each morning. And left us a picture each day. My cat unfortunately had other things on his mind. He was playing hard to get. As Sage came by early each morning, he was either still out hunting, or was hiding in his secret place. She said she only caught a glimpse of him one morning, and was too fast for her to get a picture of him. But she was patient with him. She added a few treats to his bowl of food each morning in order to see if he was eating. He was defiantly eating his treats, and his food. I think he was just being shy, as this was only the second time we've hired a cat sitter. We also opted to have him stay outside the whole time we were gone. As he is mostly an outdoor cat, and the weather was mild the whole time. Once we returned home, he was in our back yard, and came running when we called him. He was in happy spirits, and glad to see us!”

Rich and his family were wonderful with my crazy boy, who was very happy when i.picked him up (a tell-tell sign he had a great time!). I was only visiting in their state and when my schedule did a flip flop Rich was so flexible and understanding it took a lot of stress off of me. Being a sitter myself I know dogs act different with different people, and Rich gave me some feedback of how Lyric was for him (like that he jumps 4' fences. He normally only jumps if we tell him or if he is trying to get to me) - and Rich amd the family handled it well. I would be more than willing to reccomend people to Rich and his family, amd when we are here visiting our family i know there is a good trusting sitter for my boy if needed.”

Currently this is my full time job so your animals will always have my attention while in my care, typically my days start at 6 am with the first bathroom opportunity then breakfast given around 7 am after breakfast a potty walk through the neighborhood/ parks. Once back some down time/ play time depending on if your dog is here for training the first training session of the day will take place by 9 am. Lunches dropped between 12 and 1 pm unless spefic time requested. After lunch another potty break before relaxing and other training sessions. Dinner dropped to the dogs around 5 pm with a chance to potty roughly within 20 minutes of eating, around 7 pm last neighborhood walk of the night followed by last training session of the day around 8pm then relaxing and playing until bed time around 10pm with a final chance to go potty before bedtime. ( I will give other chances if unused or seems needed) For boarding dogs i have a fenced yard with a dog door so dogs may come and go when they need if i am o ly watching one at a time, no dogs outside unsupervised or with other dogs especially if they do not know each other. No nose to nose interactions with out owners permission and only in a safe structured environment. For dogs here for training the are allowed in the back yard off leash to do their business but I will also walk them on leash through the neighborhood while doing out training sessions.
About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.
About: I have been dog sitting off and on for several years-for various animals of all shapes and sizes- cats, a pit bull, mutt, a border collie, and a baby calf. I love and feel comfortable with all animals! I have a flexible schedule, and would love to follow whatever routines you already have with your pet. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for several years through my own personal fur babies, pet sitting, babysitting families with pets, and helping friends and neighbors. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after pets, and giving them lots of attention and care! I am an expert level medicine giver as I always need to get creative with my baby to give him his medicine (iykyk)! I also have experience working with senior pups and am very sensitive to their needs. We have two German Shorthaired Pointers and one Mini Aussie/Corgi mix, a large fenced yard, and a park down the road.
