“Well all I can say is Jill is a godsend! I was referred to her by some neighbors in my community. My dog is a rescue and doesn’t have very much confidence or socialization . She said that was fine and she would work with him. Jill is very calm and definitely knows what she is truth dogs. She has a great fenced in backyard where he can run a play. About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.

I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. This would make it so the dog will go 4 hours between potty breaks. I have full availability on the weekends. I have a beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of space for a dog to run around safely. We board dogs often and have puppy proofed it for safety.

I offer a complimentary meet-and-greet before booking so we can get to know each other, answer any questions, and review your pet's routine. My goal is to ensure both you and your pets feel comfortable and confident before committing to any services. I have experience administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and working with pets that have busy routines or special needs. My services include, in your home: -Overnight house sitting -Drop-in visits -Daily dog walks -Extended "happy visits" at a discounted rate for pets who benefit from extra companionship or a gradual introduction before longer stays -In-home baths and nail trims upon request Experience & Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Penn State University -Professional pet sitter with over 10 years of experience -Force-free dog trainer specializing in positive reinforcement and clicker training -Service dog training experience -Animal shelter and kennel experience -Former foster volunteer with 11+ years of animal rescue and shelter experience -Chair Leader of a Small & Exotic Animal Club -Experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and other pets! -Completed animal behavior and canine body language certification courses One area that truly sets me apart is my understanding of animal behavior and body language. I have experience working with nervous, fearful, and reactive dogs/cats, and I always prioritize building trust at their pace. I use low-stress, force-free handling techniques to create positive experiences and help pets feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide personalized care that matches their individual personality and routine. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered, scaled, etc!) family members and providing them with the same love and attention they receive from you. I am currently looking for full-time work, but when I do overnights, I stay there every night after work, and in the past, I have been able to come during my work shift to do potty breaks, etc. I will update this as soon as I hear about employment. I come to the clients' home, and I come over beforehand to see everything. I prefer written instructions whenever it is possible for the owner to leave them.
