About: I’ve owned a variety of pets, but my main experience is with dogs! I’ve been taking care of my own dogs (3) for 7+ years, and they have a special place in my heart. I also have cared for my previous neighbors dogs and horses on a regular basis. I know how to handle multiple issues, including illness, aggressive behavior, fear and anxiety, etc. . I’m looking for the opportunity to work with dogs, and cats, since I am not able to be with or take care of my own dogs. About: I have had dogs for most of my life. My grandparents owned a dog when I was little and now I own 2 of my own which complete opposite personalities. One is sweet and calm while the other is extremely hyper and energetic and I handle them both. I am currently a college student however I am able to be with dogs in the afternoon and evening after 2 PM. I am very flexible within that range outside of needing some time to do homework. At home I have 2 dogs, a black lab husky mix, and a pure black lab. Both live in the backyard and get fed at regular times (the lab makes sure we don't forget). I also assist in bathing them much to their dismay. They don't get aggressive but do occasionally try and escape. I also ensure they are brushed during shedding season although the fur sometimes seems to never end.
About: I’ve owned my first cat for about 2 years, and my second for around a year! It might not sound like a long time, but I’ve becoming completely obsessed with cats, caring for cats, and learning everything there is to know about them! I love taking care of them and I’m definitely willing to take care of multiple cats! I don’t mind kitty litter and playing with cats for hours on end! The dogs we care for thoroughly enjoy our large fenced yard as there is lots of room to run, play and explore safely! For our health and that of the animals we love, we do not use toxic chemicals on our yard or in our house. My family and I naturally connect with animals and are happy to provide reliable care for boarding and daycare. I am self-employed and work from home which allows me plenty of time to spend interacting with your pupper while it's in my care. My schedule is flexible for meet and greets, drop-offs and pick-ups. I am available most weekdays, weekends and holidays. Saturday availability is limited to in-progress boarding that began prior to Friday night and pick-ups as my family and I observe a 7th day rest. Your dog's well-being is very important to us. We want them to have as much access to the outside as they want, as much play and activity as they need, and plenty of space and calm to relax and settle. Our experience has shown that crate trained dogs that come with their own portable dens typically handle their stay better than those that don't. To reduce stress and better the experience, we prefer to keep dogs with crates.

My goal is to be helpful and someone you can trust to love your babies too!! Currently I am taking classes at BYU Idaho but only gone for 2 hours out of the day for classes! Other than that I am available all other hours!! I care for pets the way I would take care of my own! I think it’s important to know about the pets and their personality and how to give them what they need. That might look like playing with them or giving them interactive puzzles I offer , or even pets! I understand the importance of wet food for cats / treats when people are away as well. I have an entirely separate room that I offer for the cat to make them at home! I have lots of places for them to play and snuggle as well! Including tunnels , blankets, cardboard castles and fun interactive puzzles. My cat also is very friendly and loves to foster/ make friends if your cat is very social and needs a furry friend!
