He was injured during our trip and required medication, and she had no problem helping administer it. We did a "trial" night before his actual stay and even though Diesel snipped at her own dog, she was still willing to take him! I've left him at dog kennels or with other people before, but I've never been as satisfied with his care before now. Megan sent me pictures and a little report during the three days I was gone which was very much appreciated. About: I'm the best (temporary) dog mom out there. I grew up on a dairy farm in Eastern Idaho, and am native to Idaho! I have been surrounded by animals my whole life. My dogs are my lifesaver, let your dog be part of that too! I ask to pet every dog I see. I've taken care of toy poodles clear up to St Bernard's. I have experience from bottle feeding my own puppies that my parents breed. I am also willing to bathe your dog. I often go on walks to exercise my own fur babies and would love to have your fur baby by my side while I do :) I work full time, Monday through Thursday. So I am not home during the day time, but I do often come home at lunch time to see my own babies. While I am home your pup can be inside or outside. We have shade in the backyard and plenty of room to run around in. Your pup is welcome to get cuddles on the couch, and I let my dogs on the bed, they just don't sleep with me on the bed. I personally kennel my dogs at night, and would prefer if your dog(s) were kennel trained as well. I have a little baby that crawls everywhere. I'm pretty easy to work with so just message me and we will get something worked out! We are usually home in the evening time so your pup can get loves and cuddles while we are getting ready for the next day. Often go on walks before dark as well. I have a fenced back yard and have it blocked off so your pup won't dig under the fence in case they have separation anxiety and get anxious when they are left alone for brief periods of time.
About: I have cared for pets my whole life both as an owner and as a pet sitter for neighbors starting as a teenager. I don’t currently own any animals but I plan to in the near future. I’ve mainly been around labs and cats, but have also cared for a miniature poodle for about a year and a half. I’m a stay at home mom with a 2 and 5 year old. My schedule is completely open and can work around yours, as long as you are okay with your animals being around children. People often comment to me about how gentle my kids are around animals. I am very active and enjoy going on walks and bike rides, so I have the physical strength necessary to care for your animal. I am currently living in an apartment with a nice open floor plan, but plan to move (locally) within the next few months to a place with a nice yard. Our apartment complex is extremely animal friendly and has a great path for walks and a nice field to play around in. Your dog would be comfortable and well cared for in my apartment. I don’t own any animals so if your pet doesn’t do well with other animals, that won’t be a concern.

We did a "trial" night before his actual stay and even though Diesel snipped at her own dog, she was still willing to take him! Megan sent me pictures and a little report during the three days I was gone which was very much appreciated. About: Caring for dogs has been part of my life for many years. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have personally cared for, trained, and worked with my own dogs over the years. I understand their behavior, emotions, routines, and how important it is for them to feel safe, calm, and loved. I live on peaceful acreage with space for dogs to explore, play, and relax away from the stress and noise of crowded boarding facilities. Since I spend a lot of time at home working on the property and in the garden, dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, outdoor time, and companionship throughout the day. I’m naturally very attentive and observant, and because of my medical background, I pay close attention to changes in behavior, eating, energy, comfort, and overall wellbeing. I truly treat animals like family and want owners to feel confident and at peace while their pets are in my care. Pet care is already part of my daily life. I spend most of my time at home on our property, so pets get plenty of attention, outdoor time, supervision, and a calm environment throughout the day. I take care of pets at home every day. I have my own cats and dog, so I’m used to feeding, walking and playing with them. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run and have freedom and outdoor time. If needed, they can also be in a crate.
“My puppy stayed with them for 10 days. I was worried because my golden retriever can’t get along with other dogs, so I was glad they did not have other dogs and only take one dog at a time. They have two small children who were very friendly to my puppy. My puppy just followed their children the whole time. I received several pictures everyday along with texts on how she’s doing. I’m so glad to find them. I hope they continue to host my puppy. Gives me a great peace of mind when I have to travel.”
