About: I was executive assistant to someone for 10 years and one of my most important roles during that time was caring for his dog, Cheyenne. He didn't trust anyone during his 16 years with her but he entrusted me with traveling across the country with her on a regular basis. I also had to cook every meal for her as she was on a very strict diet. I have always had animals and currently have one very sweet chocolate lab of my own named Roux Ga Roux (the Cajun swamp monster). I'm self employed so my schedule is flexible and I am out and about frequently. I can work from home most days so I could work from your home (as long as you have Wi Fi!). I would be giving your pets lots of love and attention. I'm respectful of rules you may have, such as no table food or must have lots of treats. :) I'm self employed so my schedule is extremely flexible. I tend to work from home and I drive all around frequently so I'm usually pretty available. Due to being unfamiliar with new clients and how their pets will get along with my pup, I will not be providing home services at my house. This can be flexible once we meet.

About: I grew up with animals my entire life (dogs, cats, horses), and I finally got my own dog this year, a loving and friendly golden retriever. I still love to petsit for others. I have done pet sitting through rover for 6+ years and I have experience with horses through my childhood. I cleaned a horse barn every weekend during highschool and learned how to handle them. I am a Geologist with the Forest Service in Idaho City, where I also live. I work full time from 8-4:30pm in the office. The summer months I have very little capacity for dogsitting because of field work and I am involved with working wildfires. With pets in my home I am happy to give them free reign of the place! Please let me know if your dog has a habit of chewing items or counter surfing. When staying at a client's home, I am attentive to the pets, can provide walks and play-time, and I make sure to leave the house cleaner than I find it. Because I have grown up with pets and played an active part in taking care of them, I am in-tune to animals behavior.

About: In Garden Valley- I only offer house sitting and walks- I do not offer boarding. In Carson City, NV, I offer both! I’m a retired massage therapist/firefighter married to a retired firefighter/paramedic and have been rescuing Rhodesian Ridgebacks and wolf dogs for over 20 yrs. I provide daily hikes on the blm land behind my house, and couches or dog beds to lie on after. I love big dogs and promise a happy, tired experience. I’ve worked for veterinarians, and used to breed/show Rhodesian Ridgebacks, then discovered to joys of rescuing adult dogs. I’ve also owned 3 wolf dogs so I’m good with all sorts of behavior issues and the gentle ways to address them. I’d love to offer a great holiday for your dogs while your away on your vacation. I have a 3 story house on 5 unfenced acres with a 50 x 50 fenced area, bordering blm by the Carson River. I have no problem with leash or off leash (after evaluation) and look forward to meeting you. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with dog sitters who promised to walk my dogs daily- and each took my dogs for a walk once in 3 weeks-this won’t happen at my house since I love to get out! If you have multiple dogs, I’m your person! Just a bigger excuse to work out! Rest assured, your active dog will be taken care of, or your older dog will be cherished in my home. I have a dog ramp for cars, a handicap ramp for my house, and have used a dog wheel chair and lifting/walking aids . I can handle most medical situations and don’t have problem with “handicap” dogs. I’ve also lived in farms most of my life and am able to care for all your horse and livestock needs. Also good with snakes/reptiles (I currently have 4) fish and birds. I currently work a few hours a day from home, but my priority everyday is an hour plus hike in the blm behind my house and I love bringing dogs with me. I will feed your dog on it’s normal schedule and take them on daily walks on the blm behind my house. Potty breaks are frequent and furniture is open! I have a dog crate if your dog is used to them, and dog beds everywhere.

About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!
