About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.

“From when she came out and did our initial meeting with the animals, I knew she was going to be a great fit on taking care of the animals. Our cats don’t warm up to new people quickly & they were instantly friendly. She did daily check ins on them. Always super thorough, played with the dogs and gave the kitties treats. I think our animals are actually disappointed we did not come home bearing treats after having an awesome pet sitter all week. Haha. I highly recommend Alexandrea. She did great with our crew. We’ve got two dogs and two cats. Age ranges from 1 year to 13 years old. She even did some light cleaning so we didn’t have to come home to hair covered floors.”

About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

“During my visit to Coeur 'd Alene, we had some activities planned that were not suitable for dogs. I turned to Rover after reading some troubling reviews on the local pet resorts. And I could not be happier that I went this route! After reading several profiles and reviews, I found Carolyn and she was quick to respond to my last minute request, literally the night before we needed a sitter. After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.
About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.

“First time using app based on local recommendation. Traveling with an extended stay. Had a meet and greet with Jackie before doggie day care to settle my nerves. Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. Felt very comfortable and at ease with leaving Ranger there for a “staycation”. He settled in quickly and Jackie kept me updated with text and pics and how he was doing throughout the day. About: Always had a dog in the home growing up. Trained puppies and watched all of my neighbors dogs for them. Dogs have always loved me! I am self-employed so my schedule can be as flexible as needed to give your pet the time and attention needed. Morning, midday, and nights I can be available. About: I grew up caring for animals, dogs, cats, horses, fish, cows, chickens, and a goat, having pets most of my life. My background is in healthcare while in the military. I have been my father's caregiver which allowed me to help foster puppy litters to adult dogs and care for a pack of 8 dogs-4 of which are mine while caring for him. I can now enjoy caring for other's fur babies giving them love and support. I am interested in always learning about animal behavior and all aspects of their care. I have been my father's caregiver but sadly he passed at the age of 94 and would enjoy caring for other's fur babies giving them love and support. I have an open schedule that is veryflexible. I am blessed to have my son's help caring for our dogs, allowing me to provide in-home and overnight care if needed. The number one goal is to adapt personalized routines for your pets so they are happy and healthy.

I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Once you let me know of their schedule, I’ll follow it to the best of my ability. I would also love to know their mannerisms and quirks so I can best approach them and their care.

I’ve lived with black Labs mostly but dogs of all sizes my whole life including senior-blind/diabetic-neglected-and puppies and love teaching basic tricks and catering to loves and dislikes to keep animals as comfortable and safe with me as possible! I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
About: Hi I'm Katie. I'm an avid dog lover and would love to care for your pet. I work 3 days a week as a nurse and have the rest of the week off to care for your pup. I've grown up around dogs and now have a dog of my own. I'm very active myself and take my dog, Caspian, on long walks and adventures! My previous pup was a diabetic and I know the struggle it can be to find a good caregiver for your diabetic pup. I am willing to check sugars and give insulin as needed. About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. About: While growing up, we always had dogs, living with my best friend, i was her dogs' training instructor, and I have almost always lived with dogs' myself. I love them, despite them being much more needy than cats, but alike, we've always had cats too- even some households where cats and dogs weren't allowed to intermingle. I'm quick to catch a runaway and I've got an open schedule most the time. Our animals are like our children, they need attentive love and care, they sleep a lot, but their bedtimes food schedules and habits are as much of their nature as habit, and breaking their habits, never results in good endings. I operate my own business as SeansServices.Com, I do several tasks like landscaping, cleaning, moving or hauling. My schedule is pretty open until i have a job, then after my job, I am wide open again. There are times I'll do a long distance move, but I do know others on Rover I can recommend or refer if I am unavailable. I will always be up front. I currently cannot offer at home care, but I play with, work with and ask for or look up schedules every time they're given, with screen shots and alarms just like any job, I take my jobs seriously and my attentive and alertness on high. I never know what an animal is capable of until they show me, so I treat them all fairly with common warnings in mind, while addressing and watching for new concerns.
About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.
