I've helped with brand new kittens, helping mama nurse and care for them, I've helped elderly cats bath and cut the hair around their bottom when its gotten too hard for them to clean themselves. About: I have taken care of cats ever since I was a kid. My most recent experience was with my sweet senior kitty who passed a couple of years ago. I helped give her IV fluids at home every day for a year after she started having kidney problems and had to deep clean litter daily. About: I've had a dog since I was 5 years old. I have two cats and a dog and would welcome any dog that gets along good with other animals. I work from home so watching animals during the day is no problem. My dog is inside and outside with a large backyard to play around in. When it's very cold I let the dogs roam the main floor of the house. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment for every pet. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications. In my home, pets are always supervised, kept in a clean space, and never left in unsafe situations. I make sure they’re comfortable and stress-free, with plenty of attention and exercise.

About: I have raised dogs my entire life. In highschool my lab had a litter of 15 chocolate chips that were bottle fed every two hours. In college and into adulthood I rescued a small mix breed who travelled the country with me and stayed with me well into parenthood. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Now our family guardian is a Saint Bernard who loves nothing more than watching her tailless brothers playing in the back yard. We are used to all different sizes of fur babies around our house! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my boys, so I am available most of the time! I like to get out of the house to play at the parks, or bike the river belt, but I am never away from home long. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, great for walking around. I have a Saint Bernard sized cage if needed, or you can bring your own if you want. I have two young boys (7&11)who love to give belly rubs and throw balls, and a female Saint Bernard to keep your baby company.
About: I've grown up around two cats (short hair male and long hair female), birds (parakeets), and leopard geckos (one male one female). I have dogsat a variety of sizes (including a female husky) and did some dog walking a few years ago (a pit bull female) I currently work less than full time and go to college less than full time so I have a fairly open and flexible schedule, to make it slightly easier with planning I work I would be available everyday besides Tuesdays and Thursdays. About: I have watched dogs of all ages from puppies to a 10 year old. Even though I don't have any formal training I can teach commands and potty training. I work part time in the evenings when my husband is home. I do leave during the day at times for 2 hours at the most for appointments for my kids. I love to stay busy and can help as many hours as you need. I live in an apartment but I do have 4 dogs, 3 cats and a gecko. My pets are a little rowdy at times but they all get along well even the cats.

“We left our border collie pup for 3 nights /4 days and everything was great! We loved getting the picture updates and felt assured our dog was getting all her needs met. Usually she struggles the first day somewhere new, but she was completely comfortable and didn’t have the separation anxiety we anticipated. “Megan (and her family) were awesome with my dog, Diesel. He is an older chocolate lab with some special needs, yet she was very happy to accommodate him. We did a "trial" night before his actual stay and even though Diesel snipped at her own dog, she was still willing to take him! I've left him at dog kennels or with other people before, but I've never been as satisfied with his care before now. Megan sent me pictures and a little report during the three days I was gone which was very much appreciated. “My puppy stayed with them for 10 days. I was worried because my golden retriever can’t get along with other dogs, so I was glad they did not have other dogs and only take one dog at a time. They have two small children who were very friendly to my puppy. My puppy just followed their children the whole time. I received several pictures everyday along with texts on how she’s doing. I’m so glad to find them. I hope they continue to host my puppy. Gives me a great peace of mind when I have to travel.”
“Oh my goodness! We have used Rover several times and have always had good experiences, but Shannon went above and beyond anything we’ve had before. She was so kind and conscientious. We could easily tell that she truly cared for our two giant dogs (each about 150lbs) she brushed them, walked them, gave them their meds and gave them treats and even new toys to bring home. We got daily pictures and reports about how they were doing. She even told us how they slept and the silly things they did. We didn’t worry about anything! We will definitely use her again and again.”

About: Caring for dogs has been part of my life for many years. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have personally cared for, trained, and worked with my own dogs over the years. I understand their behavior, emotions, routines, and how important it is for them to feel safe, calm, and loved. I live on peaceful acreage with space for dogs to explore, play, and relax away from the stress and noise of crowded boarding facilities. Since I spend a lot of time at home working on the property and in the garden, dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, outdoor time, and companionship throughout the day. I’m naturally very attentive and observant, and because of my medical background, I pay close attention to changes in behavior, eating, energy, comfort, and overall wellbeing. I truly treat animals like family and want owners to feel confident and at peace while their pets are in my care. Pet care is already part of my daily life. I spend most of my time at home on our property, so pets get plenty of attention, outdoor time, supervision, and a calm environment throughout the day. I take care of pets at home every day. I have my own cats and dog, so I’m used to feeding, walking and playing with them. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run and have freedom and outdoor time. If needed, they can also be in a crate.
