“Ashlyn did an exceptional job caring for our pets and home while we were away. She truly went above and beyond our expectations. We have three cats, each with different needs. Our oldest cat, Bonsai, is 17 years old and requires medication every 12 hours, a specialized diet, and extra attention. Because of his age and medical needs, he cannot go outside, so it was very important that doors remained closed and his care instructions were followed carefully. Ashlyn handled all of this flawlessly. Our other two cats are five years old and have a different routine. They needed to be let outside during the day, brought back in each evening, and fed their prescribed food on the same 12-hour schedule. Ashlyn kept track of each cat's feeding schedule and dietary needs, making sure they all received the proper care. She visited twice a day, exactly as scheduled, and provided wonderful communication throughout our trip. She sent multiple photos during every visit and completed Rover report cards each evening, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. Ashlyn also took excellent care of our chickens by collecting eggs daily, giving them scratch, and making sure they were well cared for. She even reached out to ask if it was okay to feed them leftover watermelon that her family wasn't going to eat—a thoughtful gesture that showed how much she genuinely cared. In addition, she watered our three garden beds exactly as requested. What impressed us most was her attention to detail and her genuine concern for our home and animals. Even after our booking ended, she followed up with us to make sure everything was going well. That extra check-in wasn't expected, but it was greatly appreciated and speaks to the level of service she provides. We would not hesitate to book Ashlyn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, communicates exceptionally well, and treats your pets as if they were her own. About: I have been in the pet care business for 10 years. When I first started working with dogs, I assisted dog walkers that had their own established dog walking businesses. The walkers I worked for provided off leash pack walk adventures! I assisted a number of walkers with their packs of dogs. I learned a lot by assisting different walkers as I got exposed to different methods and strategies of managing the dogs as well as gained experience handling different breeds! It was the most fun I ever had at a job! I decided to get certified in hopes that I could possibly start my own business one day! Boy was I glad I did! The glorious day fell upon me when a walker that I was working for told me that a friend of theirs was selling their business! I was enthralled and decided to take a leap of faith! I bought it from her! I got to finally start my own business! What an amazing experience! I grew steadily and as I grew, I started to add other services to my business. I started to provide in home pet care at my clients' homes. This was such fun because I always felt like I was going on staycation! When I finally got a living situation where I could have pets at my place, I started offering boarding services! This was the ideal situation for all! I got to have groups of dogs over at my place vs. having to be limited to just a dog or two depending on the house I was sitting at! Yes! I have my very own dog and her name is Stormy! She is a king shepherd who has been grown up walking in off leash pack walks since she was old enough to do so! I have three kids that are comfortable with both cats and dogs. I also can provide a quiet and safe space for dogs that do not wish to socialize. Our fenced backyard allows a safe environment for dogs to run and play without risk. I can also follow any dietary guidelines as needed. We may leave the house for a few hours to run errands so I usually ask for owners to bring their dogs crate if they’re crate trained. Our house is fully fenced. I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. I am typically have more availability on Fridays, as I work remotely periodically. This would make it so the pet will go 4 hours between potty breaks Monday-Thursday if a potty break midday is needed. I have full availability on the weekends. I have a beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of space for a dog to run around safely. We board dogs often and have puppy proofed it for safety.

Currently I own and did most of the training for my 2 dogs named Luna (a white husky), and Gus (a chocolate lab/blood hound). I also have Heffley (a leopard gecko). I have a small inside yorkie dog and have taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a little kid. I absolutely love animals. I treat them as tho they are my own kids. I can do whatever is needed for your pets and I am very flexible in what you need done! I can take them for walks or do house sitting. I am just unable to watch them in my own house due to landlord rules! I am able to do whatever is needed for your dog. I have a lot of free time in the day to check on your dog. I currently only work three days out of the week so have plenty of time to watch your pets! I like to take dogs on walks or take them to the park if they are allowed. In other peoples homes I will play with them in their backyard!

I currently have a very flexible schedule while building my personal art business, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I am available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I can also accommodate many morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday requests. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so being dependable and arriving at the agreed-upon time will always be a priority. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and established routine will always come first. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure, keep potentially harmful items out of reach, and never force interaction with a nervous or shy animal.
