We did a "trial" night before his actual stay and even though Diesel snipped at her own dog, she was still willing to take him! Megan sent me pictures and a little report during the three days I was gone which was very much appreciated. But alas I am married to a man who loves animals but doesn't want our house overrun so I must rely on your loved animals to fill my heart. I have a background in health care so I can handle wound care and medication. I go on walks every morning and am used to going outdoors daily with my black lab, Rocky, fetching and playing. I love reasons to stay active and meet my health needs. I have a fenced backyard for outdoor play and a dog friendly house for indoor dogs. I am home all day everyday so I can give them attention and keep watch over them; cuddling them and playing fetch with them in the backyard or taking them to the park or river if that is what they like to do. I always make sure they have everything they need. And when we are out for walks I make sure they are on leash and in safe areas.

I work from home so watching animals during the day is no problem. My dog is inside and outside with a large backyard to play around in. About: I have watched dogs of all ages from puppies to a 10 year old. Even though I don't have any formal training I can teach commands and potty training. I work part time in the evenings when my husband is home. I do leave during the day at times for 2 hours at the most for appointments for my kids. I love to stay busy and can help as many hours as you need. I live in an apartment but I do have 4 dogs, 3 cats and a gecko. My pets are a little rowdy at times but they all get along well even the cats.

However, i was raised on horse and have previously house sat and watched horses as well. About: I have raised dogs my entire life. In highschool my lab had a litter of 15 chocolate chips that were bottle fed every two hours. In college and into adulthood I rescued a small mix breed who travelled the country with me and stayed with me well into parenthood. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Now our family guardian is a Saint Bernard who loves nothing more than watching her tailless brothers playing in the back yard. We are used to all different sizes of fur babies around our house! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my boys, so I am available most of the time! I like to get out of the house to play at the parks, or bike the river belt, but I am never away from home long. About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have had mostly dogs. My kids are also very animal oriented. I have cared for praying mantis, hermit crabs, tortoises, cocktail, hamsters, cats, dogs, bunny. These are most of the pets I have cared for. They both know sit, speak, the dog knows shake and can switch, the cat is learning. I just enjoy being around animals. I care for my own cat as if she is my child. All the pets I watch (including my own) get fed right on time on schedule, I give them extra attention and pets, if they like toys I make sure to spend a while playing with them to make sure they don’t get bored and they stay happy and entertained!

“Megan (and her family) were awesome with my dog, Diesel. He is an older chocolate lab with some special needs, yet she was very happy to accommodate him. We did a "trial" night before his actual stay and even though Diesel snipped at her own dog, she was still willing to take him! I've left him at dog kennels or with other people before, but I've never been as satisfied with his care before now. Megan sent me pictures and a little report during the three days I was gone which was very much appreciated. You won't find a better person to care for your dog (or cats if she does them) than Megan!! She definitely knows what she's doing!! Thank you, Megan! Emily”

About: I love all creatures and if I could take them all in I would. But alas I am married to a man who loves animals but doesn't want our house overrun so I must rely on your loved animals to fill my heart. I have a background in health care so I can handle wound care and medication. I go on walks every morning and am used to going outdoors daily with my black lab, Rocky, fetching and playing. I love reasons to stay active and meet my health needs. I have a fenced backyard for outdoor play and a dog friendly house for indoor dogs. I am home all day everyday so I can give them attention and keep watch over them; cuddling them and playing fetch with them in the backyard or taking them to the park or river if that is what they like to do. I always make sure they have everything they need. And when we are out for walks I make sure they are on leash and in safe areas.
About: Animals have been the heartbeat of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a ranch, I learned early on that caring for animals is a 24/7 commitment that requires patience, hard work, and a sharp eye for detail. From chickens and bunnies to cats and dogs—and even more unique pets like ferrets and birds—I was raised with the understanding that every animal has its own personality and specific needs. My parents gave me my first dog when I was 1, she was best friend till she passed away when I was 17 years old. I have owned several more through my adult life and currently have 2 senior pups that have been with us since Itty bitty babies.
