About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

Sherry was great about sending photos and videos while we were gone! We've left Scout for short visits, long weekends, and multi-week trips. We can't recommend Sherry enough!”

“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! We highly recommend Shannon and won't hesitate to use her again. (6+ 🌟)”
