“This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”

“Paul and his son did a 10 star job of watching my Rowdy, a Golden Retriever. Rowdy is over 10 years old in human years which makes him over 70 in dog years. In all that time, this is actually the first time I’ve ever boarded Rowdy. That alone tells you how protected he is-rarely is he out of my sight. I am so thankful that I chose Paul to watch over Rowdy. I hit a home run for sure! Paul was so thorough and heartfelt in his care of Rowdy, for he kept me in the loop, he touched base with me through the app consistently, and sent me pictures of Rowdy, at play and during movie time. “I had to leave the country for about 3 weeks due to my personal business and I asked Jason as always to care for my babies. I heard the weather was crazy here in Iowa on the first week of February, to the point where cars couldn't move. He notified me thoroughly throughout the whole 3 weeks which made me very comfortable. When I was out of contact due to time difference/internet issue, he still kept helping me out with suggestions and waited for me to respond which could've been a long burden. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m a NICU nurse at the University. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and have always loved being around them. My husband, Taylor, and I live in a home with a fully fenced backyard along with our 3-year-old son and, part-time, my 11-year-old stepdaughter, who insists she’ll have 10 dogs of her own someday—haha! We also have an almost 5-year-old mini Goldendoodle. He lost his big brother a few years ago, and while now isn’t the right time for us to add another dog to our family, we thought hosting some furry playmates would be a fun way to keep him happy and social. For everyone’s comfort and safety, we’re only able to host dogs under about 35 pounds, as larger dogs tend to make ours anxious. He’s very used to playing with his 8–10-pound Yorkie cousins during the holidays and absolutely loves having canine friends to run around with! I work 12hr shifts on both Saturday and Sunday, then I am home all week. My husband is home on the weekends, so someone is always home. We allow dogs in our beds and on our couch. I am aware of poisonous foods and plants to dogs. I also make sure to follow instructions!

About: I have been talking care of family and friends animals since the age of 10 and still to this day. From walking to feeding to bathing, and grooming I have done it all. “This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”
“Ali did a wonderful job watching my two dogs for a long weekend. She is competent, caring, a proactive communicator, and quick to reply to any questions. My dogs were so happy and content when I picked them up, they wanted to stay at Ali’s place longer. It is so comforting while traveling to know that my dogs are well cared for. I will definitely call on Ali again, I feel so lucky to have found her.”
“Trish has been fantastic with my dogs! She sent me frequent updates and images/videos of my dogs throughout their stay with her. She checked with me on anything she's not sure about regarding my dogs' diet needs and habits. I honestly cannot imagine a better sitter than Trish! I have full trust in their family taking care of my dogs.”

“Paul and his son did a 10 star job of watching my Rowdy, a Golden Retriever. Rowdy is over 10 years old in human years which makes him over 70 in dog years. In all that time, this is actually the first time I’ve ever boarded Rowdy. That alone tells you how protected he is-rarely is he out of my sight. I am so thankful that I chose Paul to watch over Rowdy. I hit a home run for sure! Paul was so thorough and heartfelt in his care of Rowdy, for he kept me in the loop, he touched base with me through the app consistently, and sent me pictures of Rowdy, at play and during movie time. I could not have been paired up with anybody more well equipped than Paul and his family. It touched my heart when Paul mentioned that he recently lost his pet companion of many years, and that this time with Rowdy helped fill the void and gave him that sense of companionship once again. Paul is the real deal and he went above and beyond in his caretaking of my best friend, and he did it with compassion and a whole lot of heart. One couldn’t ask for a more genuine caretaker for their pet! Thank you Paul for helping me in this situation, you are most appreciated!”
“I had to leave the country for about 3 weeks due to my personal business and I asked Jason as always to care for my babies. I heard the weather was crazy here in Iowa on the first week of February, to the point where cars couldn't move. He notified me thoroughly throughout the whole 3 weeks which made me very comfortable. When I was out of contact due to time difference/internet issue, he still kept helping me out with suggestions and waited for me to respond which could've been a long burden. He truly TRULY cares about the pets, not because of business but from his heart. I really appreciate your help Jason. Thank you so much for the great care.”
