My first job as a kid was dog sitting and dog walking for a giant, senior golden retriever and a tiny, spunky papillion. Our eldest (Max) is pretty lazy and wonders our yard freely during the day and night without his collar.

About: I have two dogs right now. One is a yellow lab and the other is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Spaniel is 3 and the lab is 2. So there is a lot of energy in the house. I have experience with walking them both while on camping trips, giving them baths, playing fetch and of course laying on the couch and cuddling. I also used to have an older Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so I have experience with all ages of dogs. I love to interact and give dogs all of my attention! I have currently just finished my first year of college at Buena Vista University. I am looking to make a little more money for this summer, and this job is something I know I would enjoy. I am not sure how my summer will plan out exactly yet, but I would love to make time and will be flexible! I live in the country with a 3 acre yard. There is plenty of room to run around and play fetch if needed. I also have two dogs on my own that are very friendly and playful, but can also be calmed if needed. My dog is intelligent and PARTICULAR about leaving me. Notoriously bad at taking commands from strangers. When Ali arrived for just the second walk, my dog was loving her and ready to head out at the first sight of her. And my dog gets long walks every day the weather allows, so walking alone is not the draw here. Ali communicates beautifully with me as an owner, does great follow-up when she returns from the walk, and clearly loves what she does. No complaints in my house.
