Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. She also carefully monitored his food so he only ate his food and didn't sneak other dog food and get an upset stomach. Highly recommend Amanda!”
About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs over the years and am just getting started with pet sitting. My priority is providing a safe and caring home for your pup while they are in my care. About: I am a student at Iowa State University, eager to get some good puppy love. After moving from northern Illinois, I miss my family dogs dearly and want to help others with their dogs and give them the attention they deserve. Growing up, I had many dogs and cats, ranging from small to very large dogs. I am also experienced handling less friendly dogs, and am good at making connections with them. I’m currently working part time as a customer services representative at Iowa State’s Recreation Services and do research remotely in a lab at the university. I tend to be able to do early mornings or afternoons! My apartment is safe, secured by multiple locked doors and is regularly cleaned and uncluttered. About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. About: I grew up caring for dogs my entire life so far, and cats/exotic animals later on. I had a golden retriever from ages 0-10, two Bichon Shih Tzu mixes from ages 11 into my late teen years, and a mini golden doodle and Bichon poodle mix from my teens until i moved out at 18. I also grew up keeping exotic animals since age 8 with help from my parents, and started caring for them on my own since age 16. I have kept frogs, toads, an anole, and even a praying mantis! My partner and I currently have a Husky/German shepherd mix, 3 cats, a bearded dragon, a red eared turtle, a day gecko, and an american toad. I am well versed in caring for all kinds of reptiles and amphibians of all habitats, including arboreal/tropical, desert, aquatic, etc. When it comes to feedings, any kind of feeders/bugs don’t scare me😅. About: I used to work as a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I got my first cat when I was 16 and now have two beautiful cats. Taking care of my cats has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and genuine love. I have also learned a lot about animal behavior from observing my cats and spending the past six years with them. Even though I have cats at home, I’ve also always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and make them feel comfortable and loved. I am a nursing student at DMACC and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday available to care for pets! I am available to work anytime between 10AM and 11PM. I make sure I always know where my pets are throughout the day. If they aren’t in their usual spots, I check on them to make sure they’re safe and comfortable. Before leaving the house, I make sure they have fresh water, a clean environment, and that their scheduled meals are served. I also pay attention to their behavior because it tells me a lot about how they are doing.
About: I have had multiple pets from mice to dogs so I'm well rounded in diverse care. I love to play with animals especially dogs theyre just amazing. Weekends, work days, holidays (if needed). I can house for multiple days. I only leave to get groceries or to take my dog to the park. Safe and loving. Will have a great play partner Sammy loves to play he would all day if he could, we go on walks, park trips, sometimes just a drive.
About: My fiancée, Anthony, and I are the Rover duo here! Together, we have a combined 20+ years of experience working with dogs. Anthony primarily does the house sitting and we both work together for boarding in our home. We currently have 2 dogs of our own who are both rescues. Arthur is our 8 year old playful, loving lab mix and Taz is our 2 year old sassy pit mix puppy! We love caring for pets and are excited to spread the love to more doggy friends! We will make sure the environment is safe for all pets and make sure your pet has access to food and water at all times. I work from home full time and Anthony has a flexible work schedule. We will make sure your pet has the necessary potty breaks they need and will not be left in a kennel all day long. We love dogs and are excited to provide a safe + comfortable place for your pet so you can enjoy your time away from home knowing your dog(s) is/are in good hands. Anthony and I work from home, which makes pet care fit very easily into our daily and weekly routine. We have 2 dogs of our own and we never leave them home alone longer than 4 hours. We have a fenced-in yard. The yard is safe and a great size to give your pet ample space to run around and exercise. We also have outdoor cameras to monitor if we are not outside with them.

About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I helped my grandma run her dog sitting service, taking the dogs for walks and cleaning up the kennels. I also enjoy being outside and taking my own dog for long walks and fun trips to the dog park. My dog is a family member and I intend on treating yours the same way. About: I offer friendly service and plenty of extras. I can do grooming services while sitting. I also can offer group play sessions and off-leash play time (in a secure field). Your pet (s) will be safe and happy with me. I am experienced with many sizes and temperaments and I can handle anything. I know how to seperate dogs from other pets/animals as well, if needed. I will supply the care your pet needs per your instructions and make sure that your loved one is healthy and happy while you are away from home. If you have questions, feel free to ask! Pet care is my main gig! Between grooming, training, and pet-sitting, I am always keeping busy. The care of your pet is my highest priority I have a fenced in yard that I ensure to check the perimeter of on a regular basis. Additionally, I can leash walk dogs or allow them to spend time in a large 10x10 run that is inside a fenced yard
“Amanda spoiled our dog all weekend! Played catch and cuddled and let him take a nap in her lap (he's almost 100 lbs so that was above and beyond the call of duty)! Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. She also carefully monitored his food so he only ate his food and didn't sneak other dog food and get an upset stomach. Highly recommend Amanda!”
About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs over the years and am just getting started with pet sitting. My priority is providing a safe and caring home for your pup while they are in my care. I currently have a yellow lab mix who loves other dogs. I have some experience with high energy dogs, nervous dogs, giving medicines, and helping finicky dogs eat. I work full time, but have a flexible job that will allow me to let your dog out as needed. Our routine includes three walks a day so I will make sure your pup is exercised. I am home evenings to spend with your dog. Weekends are the best times for me to board and your pup will be sure to get a lovely walk or hike! I have a comfortable and dog friendly apartment and access to a fenced yard/private dog park to play in. My yellow lab will love to keep your dog company, play, or show your dog the best places to nap. I can be flexible with whatever care instructions you need.
About: I am a student at Iowa State University, eager to get some good puppy love. After moving from northern Illinois, I miss my family dogs dearly and want to help others with their dogs and give them the attention they deserve. Growing up, I had many dogs and cats, ranging from small to very large dogs. I am also experienced handling less friendly dogs, and am good at making connections with them. I’m currently working part time as a customer services representative at Iowa State’s Recreation Services and do research remotely in a lab at the university. I tend to be able to do early mornings or afternoons! My apartment is safe, secured by multiple locked doors and is regularly cleaned and uncluttered.
