We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. About: I've been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! Training them, walking, feeding, bathing, and playing are all part of the package! I am almost available all the time. The only days I would unfortunately not be able to see your pets would be on Sunday's and sometime Saturday's for personal days. I am very patient and try to listen to what your pets tell me, but not TOO much! I will always try and make sure your pet has the best time and will be safe 😊
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, having 6 since I’ve been a child. 2 Portuguese water dogs, 2 pitbulls, and 2 French bull dogs. I have been relied on by friends and family to watch and care for their dogs throughout the years I’m currently a Pre Dental student at Loras. My schedule is open for weekday afternoons and overnight of the week, I can be of service when you need someone to watch your pet overnight or just let them go potty in the middle of the day. In my home we use pee pads, take the dogs on walks, and have a fenced in backyard. We feed them 2-3 times a day, and give them lost of love. I understand how important it is to let the dogs outside while you are away and want to be an option for others like me.

I had to deal with a delayed flight and bad weather, and he was very flexible with the pickup time, which made the situation much less stressful. When I arrived, my dog was already outside and ready to go, so the process was quick and easy. He also sent a couple videos during the stay, and it was clear my dog was happy and he even got to go on a little adventure. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands. About: I am a very attentive and caring dog and cat lover! I have a huge yard and a spare bedroom for all dogs. As for cats, I have two of my own. The spare bedroom can be the cats sanctuary if they do not like other cats as it’s full of cat trees, toys, litter boxes and food and water. I work full time M-F so I would have an open schedule for your pet during the weekend! I have two loving cats who enjoy cats and dogs of all sizes! I have a huge yard for your pups, but it is not fenced in. I also have a spare bedroom for your dog or cat to take comfort in if being alone is their thing!

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.
