About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. For me my favorite choice is to have someone I know and trust stay in my home but there's hardly ever anyone available for that kind of commitment! I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My wife and I have been married for nearly 40 years, and throughout that time we've shared our home with three wonderful dogs—a Keeshond who lived to 15, a Border Terrier who also lived to 15, and our current French Bulldog, Bella, who is 8 years old. Bella has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), so I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, following care routines, and recognizing when a dog needs a little extra attention. I'm also very comfortable with technology, so I'm happy to send photo updates and messages during our walks so you can see how your pup is doing. I know how much our dogs mean to us—they're family. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I am available anytime after 10am every day! My apartment complex is very pet friendly! About: I absolutely love caring for animals. I have a cat who gets along with just about any animal, I also live in a one bedroom if he would need it be separated. :) I have cared for others pets since I was young and I love taking doggos for long walks and giving lots of pets! I enjoy keeping the owners updated with pictures and provide a safe environment for their pets. I’m currently free quite often during the day. I am a teacher so school doesn’t start until the end of the month. Once school starts I can still watch on weekends! I live in an apartment with a dog park and I love to take dogs for LONG walks. About: I had dog when I was only 5 years old and always been taking care of dogs since I was growing up and now have my own baby, Porky and everyone always relies on me to watch their dogs and caring fir them while they are gone. I really love animals and dogs big time. I always let them outside whenever they feel like it and play roam around in backyard with fence :) I would go on dog walking and they give me excuses to work out too lol. They are my world. I would treat ur dogs as if they were my own. I am working a full time student at college but very flexible with hours. I can do after work for dog walking and even babysitting them too. My husband, he will definitely help me out if I need to when I m at school etc. Can always talk about needs and when etc. I do have a big backyard with fenced around. I have two dogs they will love to play with others. I would like to introduce them to your first before start let them play. I can always separate them if need to so they can take turns. I can give them bath, feed, take them out for walk, and even stay overnight if need. I would let you bring ur own dog foods for ur pets so that way it Is separate. I will always give them treats if being good. All you have to do is let me know what not to do or to do for them so I can be prepared.
About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.
About: I have raised multiple dogs throughout my life including Chihuahuas, huskies, german Shepard, lab, and beagle. I have also worked at different doggie day cares and animal shelter as well. About: I love any dog that crosses my path I have experience with lots of small dogs but also some very large dogs and am able to handle them both. I have experience with older dogs who may need more help with certain things but also the most energetic younger dogs who need to be played with and walked many times a day I am still a student athlete in college so I have classes and practices throughout the week but your pet will never be left alone for longer than about 2 hours at a time which will be a very rare occurrence, my classes end in April so ill have a lot more free time soon as well Making sure they are fed in a timely manner, I love playing with dogs so as long as they have energy ill be there to play with them, making sure they get walks and potty breaks often, and taking care of any special needs they might have that ive been made aware of.

My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.
