About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had my own Chihuahuas, Labs, Olde English Bulldogs, American Staffordshires, and American Bullies. So I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and take daily walks in my neighborhood for exercise. Inside, dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids with one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 60lbs. I never leave dogs unattended for long without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.
“We went to do a meet and greet with Shea a few weeks before Maisy stayed with Sheas family. The house was well kept and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We will be making arrangements with Shea in the future for additional stays with Shea and her family. Not only did he and his family send pictures constantly but they replaced a toy that was accidentally torn while at their home. About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. My Golden loves to play if yours does! About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

My goal is to provide the same level of care and respect that I would want for my own dog and home. I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walking, medications, playtime, and any special routines or restrictions your dog may have. Having cared for our own French Bulldog with IVDD, I understand the importance of paying close attention to a dog's individual needs and comfort level. I'll always make sure your pet has fresh water, receives plenty of attention and affection, and gets the exercise that's appropriate for them. I'll also treat your home with care by locking doors, respecting your property, and leaving everything just as I found it. Communication is important to me, so I'll send updates and photos during each visit to let you know how your dog is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy, and in caring, dependable hands while you're away.
About: I had dog when I was only 5 years old and always been taking care of dogs since I was growing up and now have my own baby, Porky and everyone always relies on me to watch their dogs and caring fir them while they are gone. I really love animals and dogs big time. I always let them outside whenever they feel like it and play roam around in backyard with fence :) I would go on dog walking and they give me excuses to work out too lol. They are my world. I would treat ur dogs as if they were my own. I am working a full time student at college but very flexible with hours. I can do after work for dog walking and even babysitting them too. My husband, he will definitely help me out if I need to when I m at school etc. Can always talk about needs and when etc. I do have a big backyard with fenced around. I have two dogs they will love to play with others. I would like to introduce them to your first before start let them play. I can always separate them if need to so they can take turns. I can give them bath, feed, take them out for walk, and even stay overnight if need. I would let you bring ur own dog foods for ur pets so that way it Is separate. I will always give them treats if being good. All you have to do is let me know what not to do or to do for them so I can be prepared.

I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.

Not only did he and his family send pictures constantly but they replaced a toy that was accidentally torn while at their home. About: Hi! I'm Ross, I grew up having Labrador Retrievers as family pets and have always had a strong love of dogs. I like all dogs, big or small! I'm great at responding to a pets needs. I love to give them the attention and play that they want while maintaining appropriate disciple/doggie boundaries ( like not jumping up on strangers). I am good at reading dogs body language which helps to know if they are tired, playful, need to go to the bathroom, not feeling well, or just need some attention! Working from home gives me extra flexibilty to give the pups extra attention when they need it. Regardless of the setting I am able to follow the guidelines that you have set up for your pet.
