“This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

About: I have been talking care of family and friends animals since the age of 10 and still to this day. From walking to feeding to bathing, and grooming I have done it all. I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wernt for being around and taking care of animals. Pets make my life so much more enjoyable seeing them happy them showing love in return. “This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”

She was very patient and accommodating with the needs of our pups and helped them transition to being in a new environment. I received daily photos and videos of Buddy and Rocky on how they were doing. Overall, we were very pleased with the care that was given to our pups and will be using Caitlin for future family trips. “This was Coconut's first stay with Amanda, and I think she really bonded with her. Amanda was flexible with times, and she has her own dogs that Coconut loved to play with! Since Coconut is used to sleeping in bed with me, Amanda let her sleep in her bed to make sure she was comfortable. She also sent pictures which I loved. I would highly recommend Amanda!”
“Katrina and her family were wonderful! This was the first time my dog has stayed with someone other than family. He was pretty nervous at first and I could tell he didn’t want me to leave but they made him feel at home. Katrina sent me a picture to let me know he calmed down and warmed up to their house. I felt so relaxed knowing he was at a loving home. I definitely recommend Katrina and will definitely use her again when we leave town.”
