“Jamie is such a GOLD/DIAMOND STAR sitter. I messaged her at 9PM about an emergency pick up because my current dog sitter was not taking a good care of my dog when I was out of town. We never work with each other before but she was so responsive and was ready to pick my dog up at 9AM the next day! Less than 12 hours of notice! She gave multiple updates with pictures and video throughout the day. I feel bad sometimes because I don’t even response to them as much as she send them! She asked for dietary restrictions, patient with my dog when she first met him. She even gave him food topper from her own! He is eating better than when he is with me! When I have a delay to return, she make sure that my dog is actually being put in a good hand and not with the old dog sitter who did not treat him right. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. Thanks! Hi guys! I’m Chrissy. I have been dog sitting for over 6 years now. I love dogs more than people & I love spoiling your babies. I can do pet boarding, house sitting, daily check ins, walks & much needed loving and spoiling. We offer a very pet friendly home inside and out. I have 1 pups- 2 years old and he is very friendly. We spoil and love in our home. They can snuggle on our couch or beds. We go for walks and have lots of outdoor play time too! We even have a doggy pool for those darn hot summer/fall days!
About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
About: Experienced in walking all size dogs and looking for a walking buddies on regular basis in the Cedar Rapids area in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule I am looking for a dog to walk anywhere from 2 to 4 miles depending on the dog and day and can be flexible with the time. I do have a fenced yard and can entertain at my house for short periods of time. But I am willing to take care of each individual dog depending on its regular routine.

“Nathan was amazing. Communication was wonderful. I could tell from photos that Wrigley was having a great time. Wrigley is skittish with new people, which concerned me. He warmed up pretty well at meet and greet. Not to the point he would let Nathan pet him, but he didn’t bark or growl at him. To me that was perfect. Nathan was patient and kind. “Jamie is such a GOLD/DIAMOND STAR sitter. I messaged her at 9PM about an emergency pick up because my current dog sitter was not taking a good care of my dog when I was out of town. We never work with each other before but she was so responsive and was ready to pick my dog up at 9AM the next day! Less than 12 hours of notice! She gave multiple updates with pictures and video throughout the day. I feel bad sometimes because I don’t even response to them as much as she send them! She asked for dietary restrictions, patient with my dog when she first met him. She even gave him food topper from her own! He is eating better than when he is with me! When I have a delay to return, she make sure that my dog is actually being put in a good hand and not with the old dog sitter who did not treat him right. I feel so safe to have my baby in her care because she has such a great heart. I would 100% work with Jamie again! Her price is so affordable for the quality of care that she provides!”
