About: I’m a dog lover and have two corgis of my own who are both very friendly with other dogs and people. I’m used to caring for dogs every day, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention and cuddles. My dogs are social and welcoming, so your pup will have some friendly company while staying with me. I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and treated like part of the family while you’re away. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and any special instructions you have! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to give your pup attention, playtime, and care. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 5PM. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I have two friendly corgis, Sushi and Boba, who can provide companionship if your pup is comfortable around other dogs. About: I have a basset hound, the most stubborn of them all. I am used to food thieves, and shenanigans! I have done canine hospice care and fostered senior dogs through a rescue shelter. I have also done pet sitting in my home, including a Doberman all last summer while his owner recovered from surgery. I meet your dog where they are striving to stick to their routines no matter if in my house or in theirs. I work outside of the home 3 days a week so I am home the majority of the time to spend time with the dogs staying with me. It also gives me plenty of time to schedule house visits for pets at home needs care. I strive to stick to your dog’s routine when staying at my place. If they sleep in the bed at night they can sleep in my bed, if they crate then we will crate. I have a dog and a cat that don’t mind sharing their space as long as they have their personal space.

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! About: I grew up with animals and as an adult i have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have also enjoyed caring for friends and family pets when needed. I have volunteered at the ARL and received some training. I have an open schedule with lots of flexibility that allows for plenty of time to take care of or hang out with my furrbabies. About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5. I’ve dog sat 2 pit bulls while I also babysat 2 kids when I was just 14 for 12 hours a day. I currently dog sit for my mom all the time. I taught my dog how to rollover, speak, spin, and more all while being a single mom with a little baby! I’m currently staying at home taking care of my son and will be home all day every day for the most part. I can give your fur baby as much attention as they need, take them on walks, play fetch, or reinforce training and positive behavior. I don’t have a fenced yard but I have a long leash to let my dogs run a bit and stay outside for a while if they would like. I also have a little kiddie pool for them to play in for hot summer days. My dogs also enjoy chasing water straight from the hose! I always pay attention to make sure they never get overheated. At your house I would try to follow your typical routine so it feels natural for your fur baby!
About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. About: I am a homeschool mom. I have had several dogs over the last 26 years from blue heelers, labradors, a lab/dane mix and most recently an Australian Shepherd. I've house-broken and crate trained all my puppies and we also adopted an adult rescue dog and acclimated him to family life. I've taken different obedience courses over the years and most recently am working on Rally Obedience with my aussie. My family, which includes my husband and two teenage daughters love dogs of all sizes and ages. I’ve got a very large fenced in back yard, a fun loving Aussie, and am home most of the time to give your fur baby lots of love and attention. I have recent experience in dog obedience and have house-trained puppies. I love to walk dogs and give them lots of attention. Because I homeschool, most days I am home and able to attend to dog or puppy care. Our two year old Aussie loves to play with other dogs and has earned his CGC-A. Backyard play or leash walking would be part of your pets care. On occasion we may go to a park and our dog often accompanies us. I have a large fenced in yard with lots of shade and green space to run around in. I have crates of various sizes to keep your dog safe and comfortable at night, when we leave for an errand or to retreat to as needed.

About: Since I was a teenager we had cats and dogs. I love to be with the Russian blue kittens/cats we have. We also had three Akitas dogs and went on walks in nature around our yard.
