We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! Even though she is a 50 lb mixed breed, she loves small dogs. We got photos of her on hikes and wandering on their incredible property. About: I have taken care of all kinds of cats at my job PetSuites. they had a cat daycare just as dog daycare and I would always fight to care for the cats when the time came to feed and spend time with them. I have not personally owned cats due to my fathers allergies but I have friends who own cats and I have always been the first they go to when they needed a sitter

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

“Grant was a lifesaver for me and my puppies! As a busy night shift nurse I was not sleeping during the day so I could give my puppies attention. It all became too much so that’s when I decided to find a puppy daycare for them. I found Grant and he was open to watching them during the day for me so I can get some sleep! My 8month old puppy Cricket is a shy/ nervous girl and my 3 month old puppy Junebug is rambunctious and sassy. About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I have taken care of dogs since age 18 for friends and family. Your dog will get a great walk with me. I like to take them on different routes. If your dog can respond to his/her name off leash they will get lots of activity playing frisbee or hiking. I always take groups of family dogs in my car hiking paths around lost grove lake or on leash on crow creek park path. I don’t mind driving your dog to go to walks in different locations so they get to be around outdoor area beside just a sidewalk in a neighborhood. I will walk dog on sidewalk in neighborhood too. I’m very gentle with all dogs and praise and talk to them on any walk. Dogs get a good workout with me or an enjoyable walk outdoors. I’m available every day of the week except on Saturday. I’m available to walk a dog from 11-3. Any walk with me will provide your dog enjoyable activity with me I only plan to walk dogs. If they are responsive off leash they will always have an active walk playing frisbee or ball or hiking. Your dog will stay in shape and look forward to taking walks with me

About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. About: I have had dogs and loved them my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers and St Benards so the big ones definitely have my heart. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable. Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.

I grew up with pets of all kinds and have always enjoyed caring for them, spending time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your beloved pet. He’s a pit/boxer mix and is super friendly and gets along with other pups. I also have a human baby, so I’d prefer your fur baby be good with kiddos, but I can keep them separate if needed. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family members receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. 🐾❤️ I have my own in-home daycare with little ones M-F so I am home all the time, making it convenient for me to care for your furry friend when needed. We usually spend a majority of our days in the basement where I have my daycare space set up, so the animals can have a quieter area (unless they’d rather be with me and the kiddos) on the main floor, which is fairly spacious. My husband also has a flexible job where he can work at home fairly often, so he will also be around to help with the animals when needed. I have a smaller sized fenced backyard and a super friendly and submissive 5-year old pup of my own that can help make your pet feel comfortable here. Your fur friend has free range of the house, but I can also crate him/her if preferred.
