About: Senior care experience! I've adopted multiple dogs at 10+ yrs old from the local pounds and made sure they had the best senior care experience possible. I currently have 2 dogs, both spayed and absolutely love other dogs. A Corgi (Ruby) who is 9 and a Maltipoo (Joplin) who will be 2 this year. The poo was adopted from a kill shelter in TX (and one before her from the same area as well). We've lost 4 dogs in 2 yrs due to old age, 3 within 6 months. Hard pill to swallow but I love them all and would LOVE to love yours too! I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies! Believe me when I say they will come home all tuckered out :) I have a fenced in back yard and 2 VERY friendly dogs to keep your pups very much entertained! In your home (if a dog sitter in home is required) you can expect all of their daily schedules to be fulfilled.

About: I have had pets ever since I was born. My dog and cat are my world. I’ve cared for cats and dogs both young and old. This is second nature to me. I’ve watched over pets for my friends/family in the past. I currently work full time as a nurse. My pet care availability would be more of a part time/as needed situation. With my schedule, I would be able to accommodate evening hours. I am willing to take your dog for walks, let them out for potty breaks or feed/water them. I do have a friendly dog of my own if you want them to have a playmate and run some energy off. As for cats, I am willing to stop by to check food/water levels and replenish them as needed. About: I have experience house/dog sitting. In the past year, I've watched and taken care of three large dogs, a Boxer, and two Labradors, many times. For about two weeks or more depending on the owner's schedule. The boxer has some health issues so I also have some experience with giving medication. I've taken care of two Great Danes who I would classify as loving adorable couch potatoes. I also own two small dogs. My first dog was a Maltese she lived till she was ten but the last year of her life she also had some health issues. I work full time at a car dealership up in the office. I am in the office by 7:00 am and I am typically off by 3:00 pm. I can do late in the evening walks or around when I get off. For drop ins\check ins I could come early in the morning for one and later in the evening for the other on a weekday. As long as it isn't end of month or mid month Fridays I can be off by 1pm. Weekend I am off so I'm more fixable with what I can fit in. I offer drop-in visits and dog walks. During visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and any routine care requested by the owner. During walks, I ensure pets get safe exercise and attention while following their normal routine. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication with pet owners.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for years, mostly with large dogs and a few cats ranging through all ages, though I’m new to using Rover! I love connecting with animals and tend to make friends with every pet I meet. I also have a mini poodle of my own, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is in caring hands. We contacted Genna and she opened her home to our senior golden doodle. I was impressed that before saying yes, Genna asked some questions to make sure her home was a good fit. I am from the Quad city area originally but lived in Houston for 30 years, I recently moved back about seven years ago. I have a nice little house in Bettendorf with a great yard including a vinyl privacy fence. I will give your pet a loving fun, playful experience, and I’m very happy to send you video and pictures so you can see how your pet does while they’re with me . I usually let them out in the morning and feed the dogs I watch separately so there’s no fighting , same thing at about 4 pm in between they get pets , sleep, and run around in my yard ( weather permitting ) I am home every day of the week. I am gone for a few hours on Wednesday and Friday. Always attentive to pets in my care they will not be left outside for long periods of time , I often go and sit on my patio while the dogs are out , I also have a doggy door that fits up to large dogs .

“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! About: I've taken care of dogs since the ripe age of 7 with basic care of water/food in bowl and every 2-4hrs of potty. Whether it was friends or family. Didn't start going professional till 15 with babysitting for children and their family pups! For cats, I own a cat myself and been taking care of her for 8 years. With consistent of litter changes, basic necessities and cuddles! I am free majority of the summer before college. Tuesday's will not be free. But for majority of the week, I'm available as early as 10:00Am till late nights I have a fenced yard for your dog to run around in. I have one female lab and one male Chihuahua that are friendly and can interact with other dogs. (Also have one female cat!) My home is very much spacious, if your dog needs to be crated as well!
