About: I’ve been fostering adult dogs for the ARL for the last few years and have had so much fun getting to learn about a variety of breeds, personalities and behaviors. About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. My Golden loves to play if yours does! If not, I have the space to separate dogs too. Lastly, I have experience giving dogs meds as some of the dogs in my care have different long term conditions. Please reach out with any questions! About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!
About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! About: Not only have I had my own animals most of my life but for 3 or 4 years I was also a foster home for the breed Weimaraner. Animals are like my kids and so will be your animals. Would prefer to discuss with each animal owner what is needed as I work full time but I am flexible so would like to be contacted. About: I genuinely care about the well being of every dog in my care. I will treat every dog as if it was my own, which means lots of treats(if allowed) and lots of pets, belly scratches and cuddles(if tolerated). I am currently working part-time and healing. Unfortunately financially I need more income so I thought “why not try Rover and spend some time with dogs(which I love doing!)”. So ultimately I will make this fit into my schedule where I can. I’m pretty flexible currently. Give me a chance and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I ask clients to leave detailed instructions. I want to make sure that while you are gone your dogs/cats routine stays as close to normal as possible! If that means your dog goes to paws n pints for a play date on Wednesday @2 then I’ll load up lassie in the car and get there! If your cat gets 3 treats at 3pm everyday then we will make it happen! We got him when he was very young and he loved to an old age for a lab, so I have experience with both young and old dogs. I don’t currently have any pets as I am a college student, but I have experience caring for pets in the past. I make sure to keep the environment calm and peaceful as I know some animals can get scared when around unfamiliar people or in an unfamiliar place. About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of animals from large to small and to exotic since I was 13 years old. I have worked for veterinary clinics and a rescue. I am currently unemployed and searching. I am available most days and times. Once I find a new job I will be available on weekends. I will be providing in client’s home care. I will stop in as much as needed to play, feed, and let outside. I know how to administer medication so can do that if necessary.
About: I have had dogs my entire life. That’s a long time! I assure you your dog would be in good hands! I will love them like they were mine! I stay home now so I’m available pretty much anytime. I’m willing to go to your home if it’s not to far away. Just ask I’m sure we can work something out. I have a fenced in yard. I have two friendly dogs. One has a crate and one doesn’t. They both sleep where they want. I crate one only sometimes.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I would look after friends, families, and neighbors pets while they are away. Everyone in my life knows I am a very trusted person. I am currently a student at Aveda Institute Tuesday-Friday, and I babysit on Mondays. Pet sitting is a perfect fit for me on the weekends. I am able to work with any pet and cater to their needs whether they are a very energetic dog or a senior citizen dog who needs some more love. I am more than willing to accommodate to everyone's needs.
