“This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. About: I always knew I had this nature since I was little, on taking care of animals. I always want to protect them and make sure they are well, because I love them very much and I get upset when an animal is not okay. Been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old. I currently do not have a full time job but I do have offers around and I want to experience with this app too. My availability depends if I have an interview or I have to do an orientation. About: I've been taking care of my mom's dog when she is out of town for over 10 years. My brother recently got a puppy and I have added her to my list! Dogs are near and dear to my heart and are treated just like a child on our home! I am a stay at home mom to our 2 year old. We are generally not gone for more than a couple of hours, if at all. We live in a nice quiet town and go for walks often. We have a very shaded front yard that we are in a lot. We take walks often and live in a nice town. Our yard is not fenced in.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. I have a patio for dogs to be outside if they want to as well as a separate office space that my dog sleeps in at night. I also have a crate available if need be.

She was able to care for Benito, my Golden Retriever for a long day while I went to visit family just outside of town. She sent me updates regularly and Benito had a great time. About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughter’s age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience. I work at home during the day and my husband at night. I rotate shifts on the weekend so one of us is usually home. We have done injections, meds, sleep request in person or kennel. We try to be accommodating g in what is less stressful for the dog. Past CPR certification set to renew soon. Daughter is 13 and does well with shy animals. Please no aggressive dogs. I have. 117 regular clients and we have minimal issues out side of resource guarding (this is avoidable). Let me know if you would like to meet. We have a 4 foot fence they go outside every 1-2 hours usually. We have a small count of animals we care for and make determinations based on character on our booked guests needs. We do our best to accommodate and usually are within mins of home if we leave. My dog is a runner, so please give us time to answer the dog so he can be secured. We want to have your dog use the same schedule at home. My husband usually lets the dogs out at 5-6 and then they go out again before 7. Breakfast And then again 8. Then we usually settle down while I work and break 11:30-12:30. Then potty again at 3:00 if not sooner. They go out again between 5-6:00. Then second meal and out anywhere 7-9 and final let out between 9-10 and a ‘greenie’ please provide some of your own We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family. We have a gate for areas that have things they could get into.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. In addition to my own fur family, I've watched several other's fur babies for the past 10 years. I work from home, so I'm home the majority of the time. That means your animals always get the attention they need, plus always another animal for companionship. I don't have a fenced yard, but I ALWAYS tether or take them out on a leash when at my home. I do like to give treats like kongs for added stimulation as well. I do have crates or have room for crates for sleeping or if they need alone time.

I have 1 pup- he’s 5 years old and he is very friendly. We spoil and love in our home. They can snuggle on our couch or beds. We go for walks and have lots of outdoor play time too! We even have a doggy pool for those darn hot summer/fall days!

About: I’ve taken care of many animals since I was just a little kid. I’ve always held a special place in my heart for dogs, along with small critters. Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. It was a blast, but I’d also love to slow down, and give 1 on 1 attention to the needs of each. I am currently a pretty free person, beginning my career of dog training, Bait’s Purpose: K-9. I plan my future around my dogs, and training. I care for pets however is requested by the owner(s), this just varies on what each dog is comfortable with. Dogs are in great care, however.

About: I have loved critters of all kinds since childhood. I attended obedience training for my family Rottweiler at age 6, and have cared for many big-breed dogs such as pitbulls, American bulldogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, labs, and more. I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family starting as early as middle school, and am also very comfortable around small breeds and senior babies. I have experience with Boston terriers, yorkies, daschunds, beagles, and more. I have and am comfortable with administering necessary meds or topicals for pets with extra health needs. I have also cared for cats, bunnies, fish, and turtles. I am very passionate about rescuing, and happy to discuss any extra care your pet may need due to a life transition like fostering or rescuing. I watched a PETA ad when I was 9 years old and have been vegetarian ever since… I just really love animals! :) I am working part-time from home at the moment, so I am very flexible currently with my schedule. I am typically available in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings! I have a fenced in backyard, and I do not have a dog of my own. I have a dining area with an extra couch that can be sectioned off if needed for a crate or food. I do have a senior cat who is indoor, who is very friendly with dogs. He grew up around my mom’s beagles, so he doesn’t mind company/energy! I can section off my basement stairs and kitchen for safety if needed. I cannot board any cat-aggressive dogs for my cat’s safety. I do not use any non pet-safe cleaners or pest control in my home.
“This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”
