About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: NOTE: I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 3 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! About: Hi there! If you’re looking for someone with experience and love for your special doggos, you have come to the right place. I have dreamt about rescuing/taking care of animals my whole life. Just two years ago, me and my boyfriend rescued our first dog (Huxley) and in January 2022 we rescued our second dog (Ryder). That is the best decision we have ever made, I can’t imagine live without them. We always make sure they have the best toys, treats, walks daily, training, and all the love they deserve from us! I also grew up in a family with dogs and they are family to me also. I would bathe, feed, walk, play fetch, and care for them in addition to my dogs I have now. I will do anything to make sure your pup/pet is safe, comfortable, and having fun. I’m currently working full time but work at nights while studying to go to law school next year. My boyfriend works from home for Wells Fargo and we live together so it works out perfectly! I watch our dogs in the morning and when I leave for work my boyfriend will watch our dogs at night. We have a pretty flexible routine and that’s why we are passionate to help others with their pets be in the most safe, comfortable, and fun place. We care for our pets in various ways. We have a fenced in yard for our dogs to enjoy, but we also take them on 1-2 walks a day or take them to different locations to check out new places! We used to crate them when they were puppies but now they are older, they are house trained and are able to free roam. Same goes for your precious pup, we can take them for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment activities with frozen peanut butter/a ball that we put our dogs kibble in that they have to roll around to get the food out. If they need crated, or anything we can do to make you feel comfortable along with your special pup, we can do that. If they are more relax around the house dog, we can hang out with them and watch some movies. If they enjoy playing with other dogs, we have two dogs of our own that get along with any animal. They know how to play gentle and will play at whatever speed the other dog prefers. We can provide anything you as the client and dog needs from us, and promise to always keep them safe.

About: I've had cats my entire life, and my husband and I currently have two amazing but SUPER high energy little kitties named Eli and Finn. We are very obsessed, and they're spoiled! I have grown up in a very close, tight-knit family with LOTS of dogs and cats, and I've pet-sat more times than I can count. I LOVE animals and they tend to like me as well. I have experience with feeding, medicine, walking, vet visits, picking up animals from pet hotels, etc. I pet sit, house sit, and babysit for a lot of my family and friends, have been a nanny to my godson who has medical complications, and am well-trusted. My husband and I are going through fertility treatments, and the profit from my pet-sitting business will be supporting us in building our family! I'm in ministry school to become a hospital/hospice chaplain, a worship leader, and an entrepreneur, so my schedule is very flexible! I look forward to meeting your schedule needs. I am not able to keep pets at my home. I am able to go to the house site and take care of your fur babies, however, and spend time at your place to give your darlings some affection, give medicine, or whatever else you need done!
About: I grew up on a farm, and have had dogs (and various other animals, lizards, guinea pigs, cats, rabbits, etc.) throughout my life.I dog sit/ house sit for multiple friends and co-workers already and have been since I was in high school. I have experience with huskies, terriers, boxers, pit bulls, labs, retrievers and Great Danes. I LOVE big dogs but the little ones have a special place in my heart as well. A year ago I adopted a 4 year old Great Dane and love him to the moon and back. When we got him he didn't know his name or any commands, so we went to a basic obedience class where we taught him how to sit, stay and lay down. I was so proud of him! We enjoy walks, runs and playing chase together. I can't imagine my life without him.
About: I do not have much experience, I have taken care of my mother and laws dogs since they were babies (they’re almost 3 now) and now I have a pup of my own who’s almost 10 months! My pup is a golden and has been so fun to train and care for. I’m not doing this for the money, if anything I’d like to find a friend for my dog to pay with too while helping someone else at the same time! We love going to the dog park and getting cleaned up at the dog shower after! Dog showers can be requested too at no extra cost! Im currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! Im available for boarding any day of the week as long as you give me a two week notice ahead of time so I can coordinate my work schedule accordingly! I’m very flexible too and can make time for your pup just about whenever! I have one 8 month old golden who is crate trained and is also very good with other dogs! He has so much energy and would love to keep your dog company too! Let your pup be a frequent dog park go-er too!
About: I have years of experience working at an animal hospital, so i know how important specialized care can be! I’m very familiar with special feeding instructions as well as medicine application and administration. I’m very open to being both flexible and rigid with scheduling depending on the needs of the animal and owner. Im always available and open to questions, concerns and comments by the owner and always happy to provide pictures and updates throughout the pets’ stay or walk. Whether it’s an active lifestyle your pet needs or just some cuddling time on the couch, I am able and very happy to provide. I am very excited to get to know and bond with you pet while showing them the love, exercise, and care that they deserve! I’m currently working on a part-time flexible basis as a receptionist, allowing me to easily fit in the time that your pet needs and deserves! I have two wonderful dogs, who aren’t currently in residence. When they are, they are allowed on furniture and enjoy walks and belly rubs. I’m happy to listen to your concerns and make plans to ease any worries you have!
