This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and a strong understanding of animal behavior. I’m not only comfortable with dogs of all ages but also have experience handling puppies and providing senior dog care. I work from home, which allows me to give your pet my full attention throughout the day. With a flexible schedule, I'll be the one taking care of your pet personally, ensuring they get plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. We have a dog at home and an unfenced yard, but we're just one block away from a dog park, so your pet will have plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exercise. If needed, we can crate our dog to ensure safety and comfort during your pet's visit. About: For most of my life, I grew up on a farm full of a variety of animals. We owned chickens, cows, pigs, goats, ducks, geese, horses, and sheep. On top of that, we also kept many dogs and cats around too. Due to this, I grew up loving all my animal companions and practicing the best ways to care for our furry friends. I now live in an apartment with just my two cats but take with me my past experience of two years working at a vet clinic as a ward attendant, participating in dog walking, administering medications, and other general animal care. Currently, I am looking for ways to fill my free time with a little extra animal love, as I am someone who likes to always be busy doing something for others. With my current job as a teacher, my schedule is pretty strict, unfortunately. However, my evening availability can be very flexible. I could be available from 5 pm to 10 pm during the weekdays and then free all day during weekends. Therefore, if you need my help with your furry family member, I would be glad for you to use my low-priced services offered ranging from walks to house sitting to drop-in visits! I am a teacher and will be working every weekday from 7 AM to 4 PM. Expect that availability for me will change during winter and summer breaks. In my home, I have two cats that are experienced with dogs and other cats. We have multiple rooms so if a door needs to be shut for an animal's privacy while in my care, that can be done.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs. I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

About: Hello, I have lots of experience caring for pets. I also have a lot of flexibility and would be willing to work with you and your fur friends. I am able to do walks, drop ins, play time, feeding and overnight or longer term care. As well as cleaning up after pets and bath times. I have much flexibility. I’m able to work most days, especially with notice. The more ahead of time notice I get the better I can prepare. I have 4 cats and we do feeding time 2-3 times a day. We clean litter boxes daily. We also try to incorporate play time with each one wheneve possible. With clients, it will have to be at their home, I am able to do feeding, cleaning, excercise and play. As well as spending time frames when needed so they aren’t lonely for too long.

“Erica was awesome! She came every day as scheduled, on time and cared for my two cats. She reached out about one of my cats receiving a supplement that we forgot to cover and she took care of him. She also reached out the day of travel to let me know that if something happened and flights were delayed that she would be happy to help out. A couple of the pictures I received were of close ups which told me that one of my cats was very happy to see her and enjoyed her company. My other cat is a giant "scardy cat" and hides from everyone she doesn't know and even she started being somewhere that Erica could get a quick picture of her. Erica took great care of my two cats, and I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have had my own pet sitting business since I was 10 and have watched and cared all different breeds and even cats! I have a lot of experience with large, high-energy hunting breeds and ensure that each pup gets enough exercise each day. My favs are the dog park and the beach! I also trained my golden retriever, Harper in agility! In my free time I love to volunteer at the animal shelter, to give back! So I have experience with pets with separation anxiety and those that aren’t friendly with other pets! I ensure all pet parents are updated with pictures and videos! I currently go to school in Iowa City and wanted to watch some pets over break! I am free for the entire break, Mid December-Mid January! Either in my home or the clients I keep a close eye on the pet! I ensure adequate exercise and keeping the pet out of trouble. When in the clients home I make sure that I am locking doors and can take care of other household chores like garbage, shoveling, and dishes!

Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. It was a blast, but I’d also love to slow down, and give 1 on 1 attention to the needs of each. I am currently a pretty free person, beginning my career of dog training, Bait’s Purpose: K-9. I plan my future around my dogs, and training. I care for pets however is requested by the owner(s), this just varies on what each dog is comfortable with. Dogs are in great care, however.

I don't have a fenced yard, but I ALWAYS tether or take them out on a leash when at my home. I do like to give treats like kongs for added stimulation as well. I do have crates or have room for crates for sleeping or if they need alone time.

About: I have taken care of dogs off all ages and sizes. I have worked at 3 different boarding facilities and an animal shelter. Im currently a vet assistant and have been doing that for 8 years now. I can handle doing oral medications and even insulin if your pet need to be given that. I currently only work 3 days a week. Im available some weekends and 2 days a week. I hope to have a more open schedule later this summer. I am currently not sitting any dogs at my own home. But I am more than happy to take care of them in your own home. Along with any walks or other care that may need done.

“Booked for dog walking and I am confident my dog also gives her 5 stars. My dog loved Ali immediately, first sight. Ali is attentive to her and clearly skilled with her. My dog is intelligent and PARTICULAR about leaving me. Notoriously bad at taking commands from strangers. When Ali arrived for just the second walk, my dog was loving her and ready to head out at the first sight of her. And my dog gets long walks every day the weather allows, so walking alone is not the draw here. Ali communicates beautifully with me as an owner, does great follow-up when she returns from the walk, and clearly loves what she does. No complaints in my house. I don't generally leave my dog care to anyone else, but Ali”
