“Darcie was wonderful with our dog, Remi! She sent us lots of photos with updates throughout his stay and we felt completely at peace knowing that she was taking care of him while we were out of town.”

“I feel so grateful that I found someone like Genna to watch my English Setter. He plays beautifully with her dog and is treated like part of their family. She gives him the love and care that gives me peace of mind when he's with her. The huge, fenced in backyard is another plus. The photographs and video she sends on a regular basis make me smile. I highly recommend Genna to anyone looking for an outstanding sitter for their dog!”

“I love how Sherry sent pictures and videos of our dog while he was staying with her. It definitely seemed like he had a great time! I felt very comfortable with leaving him in her hands. 100% recommend!”

About: Senior care experience! I've adopted multiple dogs at 10+ yrs old from the local pounds and made sure they had the best senior care experience possible. I currently have 2 dogs, both spayed and absolutely love other dogs. A Corgi (Ruby) who is 9 and a Maltipoo (Joplin) who will be 2 this year. The poo was adopted from a kill shelter in TX (and one before her from the same area as well). We've lost 4 dogs in 2 yrs due to old age, 3 within 6 months. Hard pill to swallow but I love them all and would LOVE to love yours too! I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies! Believe me when I say they will come home all tuckered out :) I have a fenced in back yard and 2 VERY friendly dogs to keep your pups very much entertained! In your home (if a dog sitter in home is required) you can expect all of their daily schedules to be fulfilled.
“Heather was absolutely wonderful about keeping us in the loop on how our dog was doing. We could tell from the pictures and messages she sent us that Mylo was doing just fine. It was our first time leaving him since we rescued him in September so we were nervous about it. We’ll definitely use Heather again when we need to go out of town.”

“Corinna did a terrific job with caring for Rizzo and keeping us aware of how he was doing with text and pictures. We would definitely use her services again and would recommend her to others.”

“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! We highly recommend Shannon and won't hesitate to use her again. (6+ 🌟)”

“Emily, and her family, did a wonderful job watching Roscoe. He was well-cared for, active in the yard. Pictures of our pup were sent regularly. It was a.wonderful place for our pup.”

“Ashley was great, upfront communication and alignment with the environment they had, which helped ensure a good fit. Her two dogs and the space made Thad feel right at home and welcome! Definitely going to keep at the top of this list for the future.”

“Mary is literally the best pup sitter. She takes such care of our pup like he is her own. You can tell her heart belongs to the dogs she sits for by how she takes care of them. You won't be sorry for choosing Mary.”

“Marissa was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, she was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly caring. She checked in regularly and sent the sweetest photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious she truly loved and cared for Kona, and that means everything to me. Even better, it was clear that Kona loved her right back. There’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your dog feels safe and happy while you’re away. I’m honestly just sad she doesn’t live closer because we would book her every single time without hesitation. I can’t recommend Marissa enough!”

“Sam's stay at Erica's was just like being at home! The pictures Erica sent of Sam taking a nap on her couch, looking out the window, or laying out in the sunshine in her yard made me feel Sam was very comfortable and being well cared for!”

“Nyjeah W. Took good care of my Schnoodle Dog Hosanna and my cat Shylynn she was very responsive with updates, very reliable. I would recommend her if you need someone to watch your loving pets she's the best.”

“Luna had a great time at Terry’s with his other pups. It was nice to know she was in good hands and good company while we were out town. I will gladly have Terry watch her again next time we need someone!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch our dog, Vector, while we were on vacation! She did such an amazing job, she sent us lots of photos and updates so we always knew how he was doing, which gave us total peace of mind. It was clear that she gave him so much love and attention while we were away. We came home to a very happy dog, and we’re so grateful for the care she gave him. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

About: I have experience house/dog sitting. In the past year, I've watched and taken care of three large dogs, a Boxer, and two Labradors, many times. For about two weeks or more depending on the owner's schedule. The boxer has some health issues so I also have some experience with giving medication. I've taken care of two Great Danes who I would classify as loving adorable couch potatoes. I also own two small dogs. My first dog was a Maltese she lived till she was ten but the last year of her life she also had some health issues. I currently have a dog who is also a Maltese Bichon Frise mix who just turned eleven. He is energetic so I'm a very active person and can keep up with your pups too. I understand the importance of giving your pup all the love and attention they need to have a happy life. I will do my very best to provide that for your animals too! I work full time at a car dealership up in the office. I am in the office by 7:00 am and I am typically off by 3:00 pm. I can do late in the evening walks or around when I get off. For drop ins\check ins I could come early in the morning for one and later in the evening for the other on a weekday. As long as it isn't end of month or mid month Fridays I can be off by 1pm. Weekend I am off so I'm more fixable with what I can fit in. I offer drop-in visits and dog walks. During visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and any routine care requested by the owner. During walks, I ensure pets get safe exercise and attention while following their normal routine. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication with pet owners.

About: My goal is to create a safe and relaxing environment where your cat can feel secure and happy while you are away! Adjusting to a new environment can be difficult but I will strive to make the transition as easy as possible!
“Amanda was very reliable and great with communication. It’s always scary not knowing someone well and having them stay at your house with your pets and she over exceeded our expectations. We appreciate it! Will definitely keep her on our list for the future!!”

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

“Nora is great! I always know my Finley will get such good attention. He loves belly rubs and treats of carrots and she always makes sure he gets these! i want to wish her a very Merry Christmas.”

“Darcie really helped us out, accepting our last-minute booking for our Giant Schnauzer puppy, Iris, without hesitation! Iris undoubtedly had a great time, with access to lots of sunshine and outside play in the large fenced-in yard - just what she needs. We will definitely reach out to Darcie in the future!”

“Genna and her family are wonderful! We were traveling from out of state, and had the opportunity to meet up with some old friends for dinner. We contacted Genna and she opened her home to our senior golden doodle. I was impressed that before saying yes, Genna asked some questions to make sure her home was a good fit. She sent pictures that reassured us that he was doing fine. She has a nice house and a larged fenced yard to insure the safety of your pet. I would absolutely recommend Genna for your pet sitting needs!”

“Allison was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, a playful and high energy 5 year old pug and a very high needs senior. I’m dependable, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals of all kinds. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats, and I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets, including reptiles, birds, and small mammals. I love spending time outdoors, have a flexible schedule, and am knowledgeable about a wide variety of animal species and their unique care needs. I strive to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away!🐶 I recently graduated from college and am looking for a summer position, which means I have a very flexible schedule and full availability to care for your pets whenever needed. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. Personally I’ll probably be outside with them :)

About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. At your house, I can walk dogs, play with your dogs in your yard, and hang out with them inside the house. For cats, I can play with them inside, and give them lots of company.

I have walked and cared for others here in town and have been given great compliments and encouragement to help others thru this app since it's convenient and trusted! My routine mostly revolves around my fur babies. Morning we spend 2.5 -3 hours exercising exploring and making friends. Afternoon and night time another 30-45 min each one for potty and walk. It'll be very easy to include your pups they'll love the activities and best of all find some of what they're looking for 💚 In home ... each have bed/ room/ crate to be in. In your home i will care for your pet as you requested. Feeding the amount as per pet parent, meds or crate as per owner request
About: I started dog sitting because I know what it’s like to leave your dog and spend the whole trip wondering if they’re okay. I’m Christy and I live in east moline Illinois , and my whole approach is built around keeping your dog happy at home where they’re comfortable. I’m big on communication — you’ll know when we walked, how they ate, what weird new toy position they invented, and you’ll get proof in photo form. I genuinely enjoy the little things: earning a nervous rescue’s trust, figuring out the exact scratch spot that makes a leg kick, or giving a senior pup the slow, patient walks they deserve. I treat every dog like they’re my own and every house like it’s mine. Dogs don’t care about your to-do list, they care that someone shows up for them. That’s why I love this, I get to be that person. Pet care is my day, not an add-on. I schedule walks, meals, meds, and playtime first, then build everything else around that. I’m up early for breakfast and potty breaks, available for mid-day visits, and home in the evenings for dinner, walks, and cuddles. Your dog gets consistency because my routine is designed I offer boarding and doggy daycare in my home here in east moline Illinois , and I’m home all day with the pups. Because I work from home, your dog isn’t left alone for hours, they get constant supervision, regular potty breaks in the yard, and someone to hang out with. I don’t use crates. I believe dogs do best when they can move freely in a safe, dog-proofed space, so I only take one client’s dogs at a time and make sure everyone gets along before booking. I stick to your dog’s normal feeding and walk schedule, and we spend the day based on what they need: playtime for the energetic ones, nap spots and quiet company for the mellow ones. You’ll get photo updates throughout the day so you know exactly how they’re doing. My house is their house while they’re here.
“I needed a sitter last minute for my very anxious dog and Aleece does amazing work with great flexibility. She sends updates including photos, videos, and reports throughout my day with my dog and takes great care of her. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a welcoming and warm environment for their dog.”

About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. Being around cats dosent worry me. Just as long as I pay attention to signs on what to and not to do. I work full time with kids and I love pet sitting for one of my friends. But usually after work I love to be around lovely pets. I will walk your dog personally. To be honest, letting a dog out in a yard doesn’t seem like they have much freedom. Taking them on an adventure is the way to do it so they have options. Treat them the way you would want to be treated is my motto.

My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
