About: I grew up in a home with pets and enjoy being able to include them in our home and give them love and attention while their owners are away. I work from home and am able to care for your pet weekdays except for Fridays and occasionally over the weekend schedule depending. I have a fenced in yard and my family and I love to play fetch with dogs or tug of war and we usually walk around the neighborhood several times throughout the day to enjoy nature and get our limbs moving and love to have a dog on our walk with us as we stroll the neighborhood. About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 3 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. I currently have two dogs of my own. They can play all together or be kept separated! About: Animals should be treated like the family they are. I have a full acre with multiple secure fences for your animals to play around in. Any animal that loves being pet will get a lot of attention! They deserve to be treated with love and respect because they are apart of your family and are very important. I am a stay at home mom and that gives me a lot of flexibility with timing and scheduling. I am a stay at home mom so I have time to play with your dog and relax with them. They will be outside for a good part of the day with me as long as they want to be. There is plenty of shade as well as water available. There are two fences in place so your dog is really secure. There will always be water available as well as shade. If the weather is bad, or they prefer to be inside most of the day, the downstairs has enough room to run around a bit and is comfortable with a bed and water for them.

She watched my dog in her home and made leaving my pup so easy and I came home to a calm, stress-free dog. She kept in touch and sent pictures to reassure me they were doing great. “It was our dogs' first time staying with someone other than family, so we were a bit nervous at first... but upon meeting, we were immediately put at ease. Our dogs had a blast and were absolutely treated with the same love and snuggles our family gives. We loved the updates, and both dogs came home ready for a long nap from lots of playtime with their new friends. We are grateful and will definitely use Mackenzie and Anthony again!! “Kelsey was FANTASTIC with Sadie. She took the time to get to know Sadie before bringing her into her home. She made sure that she knew everything that Sadie may need or if there are any concerns that I had. She also took Sadie last minute which was super great for me. During Sadie’s stay, she sent me multiple videos and pictures which really helped me feel at ease, leaving my pup in her care. She’s very communicative and let I know what Sadie was doing throughout the day and when she was going for walks and how much she was eating. Sadie was very tired after her stay and I know that she enjoyed hanging out with Kelsey and her pup. We will absolutely be using her again in the future.”
