About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had my own Chihuahuas, Labs, Olde English Bulldogs, American Staffordshires, and American Bullies. So I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and take daily walks in my neighborhood for exercise. Inside, dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids with one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 60lbs. I never leave dogs unattended for long without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.

I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! In case of overnight caretaking, I am comfortable with any sleeping arrangements (couch etc.). My top priorities are your pup and your preferences!

About: My family had dogs growing up so I have some experience walking and playing with dogs. I also have had my cats for about 7 years. I work from home Wednesdays and Fridays and could easily stop in for check ins during those days. I love to go on walks to grays lake so definitely looking for a dog or two to take with me. About: I grew up always having cats and being a total cat lady, however after bringing home my first dog ever I realized how much I absolutely love and adore dogs! I have experience with having a dog of my own (sadly he went on to the rainbow bridge), plus caring for my sisters dog who I jokingly say is my part time dog. I also have experience with all the dogs I’ve gotten to meet through Rover. I would love to have a dog of my own again but I don’t have the proper time or space to have one right now, so I’m looking to get my fix by spending time with your dog! I’m currently available any time of day or night on weekends and weekdays! Im very attentive to your pets needs and making sure they are comfortable this includes lots of outdoor time with nice walks, and giving them lots of love and attention(not to mention treats!). :) I have full availability and plenty of time to be able to care for your fluff balls at any time of day or night weekdays or weekends:) I live in an apartment with 2 cats so any pets that stay with me need to be familiar and friendly with cats. I do have a spare bedroom that I can use for separation purposes however prefer to be familiar and good around cats if I will be watching in my home. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, horses, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks (in the Ankeny/Polk City area) or weekend check ins in the metro, while you are out and about being social. My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor TWP/Beaverdale areas, but willing to venture out into the metro. About: Hello! I am an avid dog and cat lover. I often watch my family and friends pets but aside from that I managed a cageless doggy daycare for 3 years. I own two senior cats myself. I am attentive and flexible. Always available to do meet and greet in person or over the phone prior to my services <3 helps me and your animals get an acquainted! I currently own my own business that allows me plenty of free time. I’m available most days and nights on short notice. Happy to accommodate any schedule. I do travel out of state quite a bit for my job but I will let you know immediately if my schedule were to change. I have first hand experience in handling all sizes of dogs and temperaments. Including training with dog aggressive dogs. I have experience in administering meds and first aid for both cats & dogs.

“Alexandra was awesome! I’m a paranoid helicopter mom who had never left my dogs with anyone but friends and family before, but I felt completely at ease leaving them with Alexandra! She let me bring my dogs over for a meet and greet before their stay to make sure everyone got along and her pup is super sweet. Her huge yard is absolutely amazing for my high energy dogs. Her knowledge of dog behavior and separating for dinner time made me feel very safe that my girls were in good hands. I’ll be using her services again!”
“Kelsey was FANTASTIC with Sadie. She took the time to get to know Sadie before bringing her into her home. She made sure that she knew everything that Sadie may need or if there are any concerns that I had. She also took Sadie last minute which was super great for me. During Sadie’s stay, she sent me multiple videos and pictures which really helped me feel at ease, leaving my pup in her care. She’s very communicative and let I know what Sadie was doing throughout the day and when she was going for walks and how much she was eating. Sadie was very tired after her stay and I know that she enjoyed hanging out with Kelsey and her pup. We will absolutely be using her again in the future.”
