“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.
About: I’ve cared for my own two cats, Jolene and Soup for over five years and have been around friends’ and family’s cats for more than eight. Over the years, I’ve learned how to meet each cat’s unique personality and needs with patience and understanding. I have experience with nail trimming, brushing, enrichment and playtime, and administering medication when needed. I also take care of litter box maintenance and keeping cat areas clean and comfortable. About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. Personally I’ll probably be outside with them :)

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, especially dogs. I’ve had dogs growing up all of my life and thought they bring so much joy to the world. Though they can be a lot of work, the fulfillment they bring is priceless. I have taken care of my own dogs and family friends for about 5 years including taking them on walks, potty training, bathing, and sometimes grooming. I’ve worked with puppies and middle aged dogs from a wide variety of breeds. I will be unavailable for walks and drop ins on M, W, F from 9 am-2pm starting in September I am currently in my gap year between undergrad and law school. My schedule is flexible as I can build walls around my study routine. Pet care can also fit into my routine of daily walks. I currently intern in Davenport so starting August 24 I will be unavailable for drop ins on M, W, F from 9am-2pm. If you have any questions please let me know! When caring for my own or other pets, I like to give them as much attention and care as possible to avoid boredom and loneliness. About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

Due to scheduling with my child’s other parent I am available every other weekend and Tuesday-Wed. Besides time with my child’s and class, I am free to care for your pet! I am very responsible with animals and professional in other peoples homes. I have house sat, cared for pets, and babysat without any issues within the home. I am happy to provide a safe and fun environment for your pet in your home.
About: Hi! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and had one of my own growing up. I’m experienced with walks, playtime, bathing, and general care, and I love spending time getting to know each dog’s unique personality. While i’ve worked most with smaller dogs, I’m comfortable and open to caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. Being around cats doesn’t worry me. Just as long as I pay attention to signs on what to and not to do. I’m currently trying to raise money for a trip to go meet some family I’ve never met. I’ve had this app for months and haven’t had a single client. Please help me reach my goal I work full time with kids and I love pet sitting for one of my friends. But usually after work I love to be around lovely pets. I will walk your dog personally. To be honest, letting a dog out in a yard doesn’t seem like they have much freedom.
