About: I’ve taken care of quite a few dogs since I was young. I’ve had two dogs myself but currently don’t have any furry friends. I regularly dog-sit my parents’ dog and have occasionally watched other dogs. I do not work during the summer so I am home most of the time other than when running errands or the occasional day trip. This will allow me to keep whatever schedule your dog is used to. We have a fenced in yard with a few doggy neighbors. We do not have any furry pets at the moment so yours will get all the attention!

About: Drop ins: I’ll take your dog on a little walk before feeding them and spending time with your little furry love (20-30 minutes or so) Walking: I’ll take your pooch for a walk and/or run for as long as they require. House sitting: we will go on walks, snuggle, eat and I will be respectful of the owners home- clean up after myself and the animal so you come home to a nice clean home and you don’t have to rush to take care of your beloved fur baby! Boarding: not my preferred method of watching your pooch but if it’s absolutely needed, I can accommodate to make your pooch feel warm and welcome in my home.I have 2 large male dogs and a 2 year old- they’re great but getting older and less tolerant of other dogs.

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. “My 9 year old, handicapped, German Shepard, little lady had an awesome time with Aryl, her pack and her family! We've already booked another stay. 🥰 This stay took place over overnight for 7 consecutive nights while I was at work. This was the first time not to allow her to stay at home alone. After a few rough nights alone, getting stuck a couple times, and then not able to make it through the night without apotty break, I knew I needed to find someone. Because Miss Black has lost use of her hind legs and is now in a wheelchair her care is a little more complex. Aryl administered her medication, assisted as needed going potty, and kept her cleaned up and smelling fresh every morning. This has been such a relief knowing she is in good hands. It gave me such peace of mind while I was working. Aryl didn't have any problems reading her communication signs. Even when she had other Rover dogs over, she was able to give Miss Black everything she needed. I believe Aryl's past experiences have given her the insight she needed to provide great care. Instead of wondering what I was going to walk into after a long shift, I was greeted by my smiling pup right inside the door.”

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals since I was just a little kid. I’ve always held a special place in my heart for dogs, along with small critters. Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. It was a blast, but I’d also love to slow down, and give 1 on 1 attention to the needs of each. I am currently a pretty free person, beginning my career of dog training, Bait’s Purpose: K-9. I plan my future around my dogs, and training. I care for pets however is requested by the owner(s), this just varies on what each dog is comfortable with. Dogs are in great care, however.

We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! “Jamie is such a GOLD/DIAMOND STAR sitter. I messaged her at 9PM about an emergency pick up because my current dog sitter was not taking a good care of my dog when I was out of town. We never work with each other before but she was so responsive and was ready to pick my dog up at 9AM the next day! Less than 12 hours of notice! She gave multiple updates with pictures and video throughout the day. I feel bad sometimes because I don’t even response to them as much as she send them! She asked for dietary restrictions, patient with my dog when she first met him. She even gave him food topper from her own! He is eating better than when he is with me! When I have a delay to return, she make sure that my dog is actually being put in a good hand and not with the old dog sitter who did not treat him right. I feel so safe to have my baby in her care because she has such a great heart. I would 100% work with Jamie again! Her price is so affordable for the quality of care that she provides!”
