About: I have a dog of my own now and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet! I stay active and go on daily walks (sometimes twice a day), so your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and care. I also have two cats, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats and their different needs. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet like my own—whether that’s going for walks, playtime, or just giving them love and attention while you’re away. I have a full time job that is very flexible. I go on walks in the middle of the day lots of times, and am also free some mornings and evenings. I care for pets based on each owner’s preferences and routines to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I’m experienced with leash walks, playtime, and outings like the dog park if approved. Safety is always my priority, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, energy level, and needs. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel loved, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a fur baby of my own that is glad to keep yours company if needed as well!

“Our dog really does not like kennels and isn't herself after staying in one, so we gave Shelby a shot. Our dog has found a home away from home! Shelby sent pics of our dog lounging around (instead of barking for 2 solid days in a cold metal crate) and best of all we had a normal, happy pup when we got home. No drama and no trauma! We will definitely send her to Shelby next time we're out of town.”

About: I have grown up with cats my whole life. I also have a cat of my own. I have take care of cats since they were a few weeks old to 15+ years old. I make sure to spend time and play with cats along with giving them any attention they want or need.

About: I have taken care of animals from a very young age. But the past 15 I have watched my adult children's dogs many times at my home. I have had several senior dogs and dogs on medications. Our current dog, Riley loves all dogs and is very playful I work part-time from home and am able to take multiple breaks for outside time and walks throughout the day. During nice weather I am outside in the yard gardening frequently. We have a large fenced yard and a fun loving pup, Riley who really would love a playmate. We also have a doggy door in the outside porch. The door to the upstairs is kept closed unless we are up there to prevent accidents.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life and have raised puppies and kittens. Growing up I also cared for elderly dogs. Keeping animals active and making sure their needs are being met is something I enjoy. When pet sitting I like running and playing fetch with pets or even just sitting and petting them if that’s what they prefer. I have volunteered with humane societies to walk dogs and play with cats. For 2 years I was a veterinary technician at an animal hospital in florida and worked with animals everyday. I am able to give prescribed medications or injections if needed. I have availability on nights and weekends as well as on my days off. I am flexible about traveling and am willing to travel about 30 minutes for pet sitting. Just contact me with any questions about schedule availability. Very flexible on nights and weekends. Work a swing shift at work so some weeks my availability is different. When caring for pets in my clients home I am always careful to make sure the pet is as comfortable with me as possible. I respect that the home is their space and make sure to let the pet make the first move when meeting for the first time.

I love helping out others and taking care of animals just like they are my own I will follow your guidelines to what your animals routines are and adapt to their space.
