About: I have had a cat in my life since I can remember. My first true friend was my male cat Boxey. He slept next to me every night from day one. He lived 14 yrs and he was the best!! All my cats have always been a stray or a rescue and everyone of them have been a blessing. I remember going to my grandparents farm and I always had most of the barn cats following me around, even the feral ones. I have a special gift getting a cat comfortable with me, or pretty much any animal. I understand each has their own boundaries and we need to build a strong trust with them.

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

About: I have 3 pets of my own and no children. This gives me flexibility and freedom to accommodate customer needs. I have 2 senior pets and 1 that’s a bit of a wild child. I have raised the 2 older ones their whole life. I workout everyday and being able to incorporate others in that is great. I enjoy the outdoors and staying healthy. I’m big on structure and routine. About: Ciao! We’re Enzo & Nina. We love animals but especially cats and dogs. Nina has had many types of animals throughout her life; dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, etc. Enzo used to help take care of his aunt’s dog, a beautiful husky. He also fell in love with Nina’s cats. We’re not allowed to have pets in our apartment but we always make an excuse to go to our friends’ houses and play with their dogs and cats. No matter the size or the breed, we’ll be happy to give your pets a lot of cuddles! Enzo is from Italy and really enjoys outdoor sports. He used to practice karate for 11 years and then moved to running and swimming. He loves languages. He speaks English, Italian and he’s learning Spanish at the moment. About: Hello! My name is Katelyn Lamb (in photo is my husband Chris, and our dogs Odin and Henderson), I have taken care of animals since the age of 5. I was in 4H and have multiple years of experience with various animals but currently work the most with dogs who I have 10 years experience pet sitting with. I've also worked for multiple animal shelters and volunteer currently at shelters in my free time! Our home has a great back yard to play in and we allow dogs to any part of our house, which also means they are constantly being looked after. Right now I'm offering to walk your pet, in home visits, but I'm not offering to spend the night, or have them here at my house. I work short days 2 days a week in medical care in Sterling, and can help you before, after or lunch breaks. The other 5 days my schedule is open to travel further and to other towns I walk 3-5 miles everyday and enjoy being outside. I'm dialing down my professional work in medicine from full time to parttime to enjoy life a bit more. That is why I am new here at Rover. I can now do more things, and that includes loving more fur babies. I have a rescue cat named Tessa, she's 15 and the most snuggly cat on the planet. We sleep together. She is tiny, but the vets says she's in excellent health with fabulous teeth and labs. My huge cat Rupert is 7 and he was born on a farm, and is hard to photograph here as he covers my whole lap and then some. He has a loud purr and loves to sit a certain way on my lap. My pond is currently healthy and some of the fish are 6 inches long. I had a 3 pound koi who I trained to swim through a hoop. I loved her. Is it possible to love a fish? I did. We have a few horses renting the pasture this year. We used to own and raise gaited horses. I love horses. I think they are good at reading people, and elegant.

“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! About: i’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since i was 13. i have been volunteering with my mom since i was a little girl. it’s my passion to make animals feel happy, i have a dog of my own. i know how to give medicine to animals as one of my babies has oral meds he takes everyday and he’s a bearded dragon 😉 a lot more difficult than a dog taking meds let me tell ya. i currently work part time at 2 jobs, i am able to fit in taking care of animals as one of my jobs is a traveling job back and forth to my clients houses. my other job is a part time waitress on wednesday and friday nights. i am available to give attention to your animal at all times. i am able to walk them and feed them at the required time you do.

About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.
