About: Senior care experience! I've adopted multiple dogs at 10+ yrs old from the local pounds and made sure they had the best senior care experience possible. I currently have 2 dogs, both spayed and absolutely love other dogs. A Corgi (Ruby) who is 9 and a Maltipoo (Joplin) who will be 2 this year. The poo was adopted from a kill shelter in TX (and one before her from the same area as well). We've lost 4 dogs in 2 yrs due to old age, 3 within 6 months. Hard pill to swallow but I love them all and would LOVE to love yours too! I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies! Believe me when I say they will come home all tuckered out :) I have a fenced in back yard and 2 VERY friendly dogs to keep your pups very much entertained! In your home (if a dog sitter in home is required) you can expect all of their daily schedules to be fulfilled.

About: I have had a cat in my life since I can remember. My first true friend was my male cat Boxey. He slept next to me every night from day one. He lived 14 yrs and he was the best!! All my cats have always been a stray or a rescue and everyone of them have been a blessing. I remember going to my grandparents farm and I always had most of the barn cats following me around, even the feral ones. I have a special gift getting a cat comfortable with me, or pretty much any animal. I understand each has their own boundaries and we need to build a strong trust with them.

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

About: I grew up on a farm. I was part of FFA (future farmers of America) and 4H growing up. I’ve cared for animals and their well being all my life. I currently work on a two week rotation. Meaning I’ll be in town for two weeks at a time, and out of town for two weeks. I’ll have weekdays from 8am to 5pm and weekends after 4pm. I have majority of the day to relax and exercise your puppies. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for your pups to enjoy outside or if they are lazy butts; got a couch for them to relax on. About: Hello! My name is Katelyn Lamb (in photo is my husband Chris, and our dogs Odin and Henderson), I have taken care of animals since the age of 5. I was in 4H and have multiple years of experience with various animals but currently work the most with dogs who I have 10 years experience pet sitting with. I've also worked for multiple animal shelters and volunteer currently at shelters in my free time! Our home has a great back yard to play in and we allow dogs to any part of our house, which also means they are constantly being looked after. Any food, treat, sleep, play time, or medication routine will be followed per owner instructions. About: I have been watching animals for 5+ years! I have cats and dogs alike! Anywhere from pups/kittens-elderly dogs/elderly cats! I have watched my aunts dogs from the time they were pups to senior dogs, plus I have also had my own dogs as well to care for! If your pets are kid friendly, I will bring my baby with me to services that are required outside of my normal hours. Due to my cat I won't be providing care in my own home, but with my clients homes I will provide all necessary tasks that are asked of me, I will change the food and water, provide play time, walks/litter box cleanings, treats, medications along with endless love and affection. About: I do love pets! I have owned dogs, cats, horses, and a koi pond, aquariums, birds, even lizards and a pet squirrel! My farm background has included cattle and hogs too. My current fur babies are two cats. I do miss having dogs. I've had dogs for 40 years until recently. Now I just love on other peoples dogs! I am also an accomplished gardener and can help with your plant/ garden care while away. I have been to dog obedience, classes, and can help reinforce your pets training. I don't see a place to mark it on this website but I am fine with taking care of your pet bird, pond, aquariums, including exotic fish, horses, cattle and pet pigs. If I'm feeding your pet, I prefer a meet and greet so you are comfortable and insist on written or texted instructions on your pet's schedule in advance so it's less stressful for your pets. If they are going outside I will want to check out their fenced yard in daylight and go over any concerns for the 5 star sitter experience I offer. Right now I'm offering to walk your pet, in home visits, but I'm not offering to spend the night, or have them here at my house. I work short days 2 days a week in medical care in Sterling, and can help you before, after or lunch breaks. The other 5 days my schedule is open to travel further and to other towns I walk 3-5 miles everyday and enjoy being outside. I'm dialing down my professional work in medicine from full time to parttime to enjoy life a bit more. That is why I am new here at Rover. I can now do more things, and that includes loving more fur babies. I have a rescue cat named Tessa, she's 15 and the most snuggly cat on the planet. We sleep together. She is tiny, but the vets says she's in excellent health with fabulous teeth and labs. My huge cat Rupert is 7 and he was born on a farm, and is hard to photograph here as he covers my whole lap and then some. He has a loud purr and loves to sit a certain way on my lap. My pond is currently healthy and some of the fish are 6 inches long. I had a 3 pound koi who I trained to swim through a hoop. I loved her. Is it possible to love a fish? I did. We have a few horses renting the pasture this year. We used to own and raise gaited horses. I love horses. I think they are good at reading people, and elegant.

We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! “I can't say enough about Heather. Due to a scheduling conflict, she came and picked up our dog from our house. Our dog is very anxious and Heather spent a large amount of time with her, in our home. Heather did everything she could to make our dog feel comfortable. Heather couldn't get her out the first time over. She came to our house 4 times before she could get our dog out. Heather sent updates about how our dog was doing. Heather is patient and genuinely kind. We will use Heather again!”

About: I am also a dog parent and have been for over 12 years. My fur babies consume most my days and why not spread the happiness! My routine mostly revolves around my fur babies. Morning we spend 2.5 -3 hours exercising exploring and making friends. Afternoon and night time another 30-45 min each one for potty and walk. It'll be very easy to include your pups they'll love the activities and best of all find some of what they're looking for 💚 In home ... each have bed/ room/ crate to be in. In your home i will care for your pet as you requested. Feeding the amount as per pet parent, meds or crate as per owner request
