About: I've cared for dogs of all different breeds, cats, birds, bearded dragons and so much more. I currently have a German Shepherd, two French bulldog, and a cat. Have administer medicine to many dogs. I'm able to keep pets separated from other pets if needed as I have two level with full access to the fenced-in yard. About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

My wife and I have been married for nearly 40 years, and throughout that time we've shared our home with three wonderful dogs—a Keeshond who lived to 15, a Border Terrier who also lived to 15, and our current French Bulldog, Bella, who is 8 years old. About: I have a moody and sometimes difficult cat. I have several families whom I have regularly provide cat care. I am well experienced in litter box maintenance, feeding and watering, and playtime if their cat-itude allows for it. :) I have a love for both dogs and cats. About: I absolutely love caring for animals. I have a cat who gets along with just about any animal, I also live in a one bedroom if he would need it be separated. :) I have cared for others pets since I was young and I love taking doggos for long walks and giving lots of pets!
