I treat every pet like family and keep owners updated with messages and photos. As a full-time homemaker and mom of two (plus two stepkids) with a dog of my own, caring for others is a big part of my daily life. Because I’m home most of the day, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to check in on pets, go for walks, and make sure they get the attention and care they need while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I provide a safe and loving environment and treat every animal like part of the family. My yard isn’t fenced, but I have a secure tie-out and can provide additional tie-outs so dogs can safely enjoy time outside while supervised. I’m always attentive to pets’ needs and committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Trusting someone with your pets can be challenging, but finding the right person makes it worthwhile. Knowing your pets are cared for while you’re away provides peace of mind. My husband and I are veterans who volunteer to raise puppies for Partners for Patriots, a nonprofit that helps other veterans regain their freedoms, whether it’s managing PTSD or providing support after a fall. I take caring for your babies seriously and treat them like my own. I just recently graduated from Buena Vista University with a Bachelors in Business Management. I am right now open as much as possible to take care of your fur babies. It might change in the future but I will adjust when that time comes. Currently I do not have the space to board your animals but I am able to come to your house and be sure that they are taken care of. If you are able to provide what they need in terms of medications (how many times a day), feeding schedule (how much they get) and any favorite things or routines they have so that I am able to best take care of them.

About: I am new to the Birmingham area and looking for a part time focus outside of my job. My family and I have 2 larger dog breeds that we take great care of walking and engaging with. While growing up we had many cats and enjoy their company as well. My current work schedule is fairly normal 9-5 with some weekend hours and travel. Could be flexible for morning, evening walks or house stop ins. If the dogs/cats are friendly I have no issues playing in enclosed areas and or taking on walks. I am a sturdy build so I will not be pulled around.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have cared for dogs/puppies and cats/kittens of all ages. I have years of experience caring for barnyard and exotic pets as well. I am also a registered nurse and have medical education and training to add. I love caring for animals and treat all of them just like family! Pet owners who book services with me with receive regular pictures and updates so they know their beloved pet(s) are safe and happy! I work full-time from the end of August through the end of May, but have evenings and weekends off. I have summers off and have extended breaks during Thanksgiving and Christmas, plus other holidays, allowing me plenty of opportunity to assist you with your time away from your beloved pet(s). I would be caring for your pet in your home and would be available to do overnight stays, day hours, or whatever timeframe needed while you are away.
