About: I’ve taken care of quite a few dogs since I was young. I’ve had two dogs myself but currently don’t have any furry friends. I regularly dog-sit my parents’ dog and have occasionally watched other dogs. I do not work during the summer so I am home most of the time other than when running errands or the occasional day trip. This will allow me to keep whatever schedule your dog is used to. We have a fenced in yard with a few doggy neighbors. We do not have any furry pets at the moment so yours will get all the attention!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. About: I have grown up with dogs and animals of all sizes my whole life! I currently have a family dog back at home in Illinois (cavachon, 6 years old) who I miss taking care of deeply. I am in med school here in Iowa city for the summer and have very flexible hours, weekends, and payment choices! As I mentioned earlier, I am an ultrasound student in Iowa City Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I have certain days off through the week / available almost every weekend! I live at a graduate student / health care worker apartment complex with a dog park and lots of grass and greenery / walking trails all around the complex! Very animal friendly buildings. I also live alone and have a lot of space!

“Erica was awesome! She came every day as scheduled, on time and cared for my two cats. She reached out about one of my cats receiving a supplement that we forgot to cover and she took care of him. She also reached out the day of travel to let me know that if something happened and flights were delayed that she would be happy to help out. A couple of the pictures I received were of close ups which told me that one of my cats was very happy to see her and enjoyed her company. My other cat is a giant "scardy cat" and hides from everyone she doesn't know and even she started being somewhere that Erica could get a quick picture of her. Erica took great care of my two cats, and I would highly recommend her!”

Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. About: I have always had a pet to take care of my whole life. I have a nursing background, so am comfortable with giving any medications as needed. I can bathe, feed and walk your pet as desired. I currently work part time but would be available to watch your pet on the weekends or make stops in to let them out or walk them throughout the day on days that I do not work. I have 2 dogs of my own and they are both very social and well trained dogs. I have a fenced in yard with two dogs who are well trained and socialized. I have the best of both worlds with an older (14 year old) dog who prefers to relax next to his owners and another dog (8 years old) who has energy for days!
