About: I have a basset hound, the most stubborn of them all. I am used to food thieves, and shenanigans! I have done canine hospice care and fostered senior dogs through a rescue shelter. I have also done pet sitting in my home, including a Doberman all last summer while his owner recovered from surgery. I meet your dog where they are striving to stick to their routines no matter if in my house or in theirs. I work outside of the home 3 days a week so I am home the majority of the time to spend time with the dogs staying with me. It also gives me plenty of time to schedule house visits for pets at home needs care. I strive to stick to your dog’s routine when staying at my place. If they sleep in the bed at night they can sleep in my bed, if they crate then we will crate. I have a dog and a cat that don’t mind sharing their space as long as they have their personal space.

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had a Chihuahua, Lab, Olde English Bulldog, American Staffordshire amd now we have an American Bully. I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. We currently have an 80lb American Bully named Rosco. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! It’s also important that your dog gets along with mine so I will schedule a meet and greet before we confirm. This helps ensure it’s a good match for everyone. I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and inside my home dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids. We have one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 75lbs. I never leave dogs unattended without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! About: I have over 11 years of experience fostering & training dogs. I’m experienced with puppies, adults, and senior dogs, as well as anxious and/or reactive dogs. Some of my training experience includes obedience, leash walking, agility, service tasks, reactivity, separation anxiety, and scent. I work most afternoons & weekends, but typically spend my mornings at home with my dogs. This means my mornings & late evenings are available and I can easily add your dog into my routine. I give my dogs plenty of love, affection, & treats. My favorite way to spend a slow morning in on the couch with my dogs & a mug of tea. I enjoy walking with active dogs, or taking a slow stroll around the yard with slower dogs. I make sure my home is puppy-proofed and nothing is available for dogs to get into or destroy.

My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.
About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. My puppy experience ranges from being the one who nursing a parvo puppy back to excellent health, she is now 3 years old and thriving. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. I also have a lot experience with teaching many tricks so don’t be surprised if your animal learns something new every time they see me! I work from home and have only two courses a day, so I have a lot of time on my hands to do a good pet care routine. My babies (my cats and hermit crabs) are on a routine or rather I am. We do feedings in the morning and have an hour of down time for everyone to “stretch” their legs before I go to class. I’m away for 3 hours before I’m back and during that time I can walk a dog if one is staying. And then I work from home so pretty much I’m at the animals beck and call whenever they need anything. I am in an apartment which lessens the risk of anything happening to your pet on my watch! Also with living in an apartment by campus we can always go for walks and meet some college students wanting some animal love!
About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had a Chihuahua, Lab, Olde English Bulldog, American Staffordshire amd now we have an American Bully. I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. We currently have an 80lb American Bully named Rosco. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! It’s also important that your dog gets along with mine so I will schedule a meet and greet before we confirm. This helps ensure it’s a good match for everyone. I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and inside my home dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids. We have one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 75lbs. I never leave dogs unattended without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.
