About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I’m currently a dog groomer, and I absolutely love my job! I have 2 dogs, Chowder and Rascal (mini Aussies). Although I am located in Waianae, I am willing to drive all over the island. My dog grooming studio is at my house, so I’m home most of the day. When I have multiple boarders I like to rotate them in the yard throughout the day. I have a kiddie pool as well that most dogs enjoy. I have a fenced yard and sturdy gates to keep everyone safe. I typically like to keep boarders from different families separate. If you’re comfortable with your dog being with others dogs, they will only play supervised to avoid any skirmishes. My Aussies are friendly but I only let them socialize if you’re ok with it.

About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs of every shape and size my entire life. I have experience with dogs with diabetes and am comfortable giving them their shots. I worked with horses so large animals do not scare me. I am willing to drive to any part of the island but I am located in Ewa Beach so please allow grace for traffic if you are townside. I have an elderly dog and young cat in my home so all animals must pass a flea inspection and have recent vaccines. If animal does not pass flea inspection they will not be allowed to stay in my home but I will go to yours and help treat them. I am currently unemployed due to medical conditions not letting me be able to be in large crowds. I can adapt my schedule to you and your animals needs because of this and can be available anytime outside of my appointments and treatment days. I have a larger fenced yard in Ewa Beach, I provide filtered water for all animals and treat any animal in my home as if it were my own. In my house animals are allowed on furniture and beds. I will always leave a space cleaner than found, if I am house sitting/pet sitting I will lightly clean the area. If your animal becomes muddy, or dirty under my care I will wash them.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love them. I’ve always trained dogs to do the basics such as sit, lay down and roll over but to also walk next to you instead of pulling. I’ve worked with children for 12+ years and definitely understand the attention, patience and consistency needed. Not to compare children to dogs but… you understand what I mean :) My dog is my whole world so I promise to take the best care of your pupper and not only make sure they are happy but also safe. I only work part time right now which gives me plenty of time to come take care of your dog or doggies! Making sure pets are taken care of is my number 1 priority. I am able to follow any of the rules you already have for your pets as well as help add to their training if you would like! My dog is my world and I love her more than anything. About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve personally owned and cared for several dogs over the years (including both puppies and rescues) as well as a cat, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at a family-owned dog grooming salon as a dog bather. There, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included bathing, brushing, deshedding, dematting, and nail trimming/grinding. That experience helped me become confident handling dogs safely, reading body language, and making sure each pet felt as comfortable as possible. While I’m not a certified groomer or trainer, I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience and truly enjoy working with animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or boarding, I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to give them a safe, calm, and loving environment while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine, providing plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and meals. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

“All I can say is I have found my PERFECT dog sitter. There was a sudden, heartbreaking death in my family. I was in a state of shock, needing to find care for our dogs while my husband and I travel to Oregon with our two kids within 48 hours. Luz was the third sitter I contacted and the first to write back. She responded quickly and was sympathetic to the situation. Her communication was thorough, letting me know she had another clients dog for a few more days and was willing to help. We messaged back and forth and I could tell her understanding of dogs was stronger than average. She spoke of prioritizing safety, boundaries, and was reassuring when I explained one of my dogs is pretty anxious and might need some space to feel safe if overwhelmed. I get nervous about my younger dog being in new spaces because she is so anxious. Luz updated me about how my dogs were settling in from the moment we dropped them off. I received multiple updates a day and a ton of adorable photos/videos. You cannot put a price tag on peace of mind. Overall, I want to include that Luz just made the entire process super easy. From the start she took control of the process and was answering questions before I could ask them. I find this important to add because of how sensitive of a circumstance this was. It was also very last minute. I didn't have time to do any meet and greet or what have you. I needed this to be taken care of and the security that I felt from Luz was priceless.”

As a pit-mix they need to be walked so they can sniff everything. Kaitlyn followed my lead on using the snacks in the puzzle toys to break up the boredom that Pit's can get if not stimulated. She was a great dog-sitter.”
