About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since a young age, including raising guide dog puppies with my family. I’ve since owned dogs, cats, rodents, lizards, frogs, spiders, and fish so I can tackle many needs. I’m well-versed in basic pet first aid and dietary needs (having worked at a specialty pet shop that made its own healthy gourmet pet treats for several years). My own dogs have included a registered and trained therapy dog as well as my current rescue dog who I’ve trained through his struggles with anxiety and reactivity. About: Hello! Im currently transitioning out of the military and looking to spend my new found free time outside! I’ve been working with rover for a few years now and would love to continue meeting some new furry friends. My schedule is super flexible and am around for walks any day and most times :) I am transitioning out of the military in July and wont be working full time for the next year. “Kaitlyn was great. She took in Bree with just a few days notice and Bree enjoyed herself. Kaitlyn is energetic and took Bree on daily walks (long) and that was important to me. As a pit-mix they need to be walked so they can sniff everything. Kaitlyn followed my lead on using the snacks in the puzzle toys to break up the boredom that Pit's can get if not stimulated. She was a great dog-sitter.”

I’m home most of the day with my 3-year-old son, who loves animals and has grown up around dogs and cats. We spend a lot of our time outside playing in the yard and enjoying our neighborhood park, so pets get plenty of attention and activity. We also have a friendly 6 year old dog, Luna, and cat, Skye, who are comfortable around other animals. Your pet’s comfort always comes first, and I’m happy to adapt to their needs and routine. To provide more personalized care, I only accept one family’s pets at a time. “Samantha was absolutely wonderful! In fact, she's such a great sitter that I almost hesitate to write this review because selfishly, I'd love to keep her availability to myself! This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise!
