“I cant overstate how important my cats are to me and I've been lucky to have friends care for them previously so i was very apprehensive when I had to find another option for my July trip which meant entrusting them to someone who didn't know how protective of them I am. I am so happy to have found Shane and was thrilled with his services. I felt reassured when he immediately suggested a meet and greet and became very comfortable as he asked all the right questions. Shane was very responsive before and during my trip and provided daily pictures. It says good things about Shane that he was able to do that as my cats hide when any stranger comes to the house and it was clear that many (not all lol they are cats after all) of my cats became comfortable enough to hang out when Shane was there. “Aloha! This day visit was for the purpose of familiarizing King with Grace and Scott and their dogs Izzy and Bailey since they will be caring for him for 6 days. I was looking forward to King's day visit since his earlier meet and greet had gone well, but there was an extended period when they were not available, and when we resumed, I was hopeful his memory of the meet and greet would kick in. I checked in with them a couple times during the day visit and and all was well. When we picked him up, we were greeted at their back gate and King was excited to see me and seemed relaxed and in a good mood. Scott reported the visit went well, King got along with the dogs, he had some outdoor time, was affectionate with Grace by licking her leg, and loved his belly rubs, His dinner appetite was normal, and he readily engaged with us in activities once home . He slept without any issues. We will have another day visit in 2 days before we leave for 6 days. So far, just great. Thanks Grace and Scott and Izzy and Bailey. See you soon!”
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I’m currently a dog groomer, and I absolutely love my job! I have 2 dogs, Chowder and Rascal (mini Aussies). Although I am located in Waianae, I am willing to drive all over the island. My dog grooming studio is at my house, so I’m home most of the day. When I have multiple boarders I like to rotate them in the yard throughout the day. I have a kiddie pool as well that most dogs enjoy. I have a fenced yard and sturdy gates to keep everyone safe. I typically like to keep boarders from different families separate. If you’re comfortable with your dog being with others dogs, they will only play supervised to avoid any skirmishes. My Aussies are friendly but I only let them socialize if you’re ok with it.

Nimbus is not good with other dogs and has a tendency to chase cats. Catalina kept Nimbus in a safe and comfortable environment and made sure she was away from anything that could distress her. About: I am a high energy , attentive animal lover who has aprox 1 year experience caring for a 2 y.o Aussie Shepard, Whom was very hyper active and loved snuggles and playing in the park aprox twice a day . I had this pup for the entire summer while his family was abroad , we FaceTimed with his family maybe 3 times a week . I am also highly skilled with cats of all age groups as well as I spent my summers on a farm with both cats dogs and horses . I have no issue going beyond the needs of the owner and taking the extra mile to make your pet build a level of comfortabilty with me and the space provided . I am an 1099 contract worker , I make my own schedules , from home , work out in between ( walks etc ) . I offer baording in my home and at the house sitter experience in my pet parent's home , whichever is more convenient for the care of the pets .

This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise!
