About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I’m currently a dog groomer, and I absolutely love my job! I have 2 dogs, Chowder and Rascal (mini Aussies). Although I am located in Waianae, I am willing to drive all over the island. My dog grooming studio is at my house, so I’m home most of the day. When I have multiple boarders I like to rotate them in the yard throughout the day. I have a kiddie pool as well that most dogs enjoy. I have a fenced yard and sturdy gates to keep everyone safe. I typically like to keep boarders from different families separate. If you’re comfortable with your dog being with others dogs, they will only play supervised to avoid any skirmishes. My Aussies are friendly but I only let them socialize if you’re ok with it.

About: I’ve been the primary caretaker for my dog for the past 7 years, handling everything from daily walks and feedings to baths and medication. I walk him at least four times a day and try to get in a longer mile-ish walk a few times a week so he can explore at his own pace. I’ve also cared for several friends’ dogs for multi-day stays ranging from a couple of days to over a week. Between that and growing up around pets, I’m very comfortable reading a dog’s personality and routine. My wife has lived with dogs her whole life as well, so our home is very dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the couch and our own dog sleeps in bed with us. I’ve also done a fair bit of basic training with him. I taught him “wait” (stay), helped him get comfortable with paw cleaning after walks, and even set up a little “dog nest” on the bed that he now uses as his sleeping spot. I’m attentive to routines, meds, and the little details that make pets feel comfortable. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m around most of the time and able to give dogs attention, bathroom breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Our normal routine is a morning outing, one in the afternoon, another around 5–6pm, and a final one around 9pm before bed. If a dog needs to go out sooner or starts pawing at the door, I’m always happy to take them out. I try to fit in longer walks when the weather and work schedule allow, usually in the evenings. Because I’m home during the day, pets aren’t left alone for long stretches and get plenty of interaction. I work from home and have a wrap-around fenced yard, so dogs have plenty of safe space to wander and get fresh air. I keep a close eye on them when they’re outside and follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Inside, dogs are welcome to relax and make themselves comfortable. Our home is very dog friendly, and we’re used to having pets around. If a dog needs to be crated for sleeping or while we step out briefly, we do have a crate available. About: I live on base, so base access required. Or I can pick up and drop off up with small fee. My meeting place for those who don't have base access is Holy Family Catholic Church 830 Main St Honolulu. A cancellation fee is applied if cancellation is within 72hrs. I have raised and cared for many pets. I have walked, and given pets needed exercise, and have always made sure they have fresh water to stay healthy and hydrated. I have a lot of experience with caring for pets and given them needed medication as well. Also I can accept longer boardings or boardings needed on short notice. Currently a stay at home mom to school kids so I have quality time to devote to pet care. I wake up at 6am daily and walk 1 mile for my health and your pet is welcome to accompany me. I provide care in my home only. I provide walks when possible. I do conduct meet and greets to ensure proper fit and I have a fenced yard for safety.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve personally owned and cared for several dogs over the years (including both puppies and rescues) as well as a cat, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at a family-owned dog grooming salon as a dog bather. There, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included bathing, brushing, deshedding, dematting, and nail trimming/grinding. That experience helped me become confident handling dogs safely, reading body language, and making sure each pet felt as comfortable as possible. While I’m not a certified groomer or trainer, I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience and truly enjoy working with animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or boarding, I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to give them a safe, calm, and loving environment while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine, providing plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and meals.
