This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. About: I have owned a cat and dog my whole life and now that my dog is very old I know how to handle senior dogs very well. I have also had my share of experience with feisty cats. I love all animals especially cats and dogs and can’t wait to meet yours! I’m working full time so I usually do weekends but I can also probably do after work as well. I’m very flexible with my schedule. For a drop in, I would let them out to go to the bathroom and play with them to get a bunch of their energy out. I would also refill their bowls if needed as well as any other requests given to me.

About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

Hailey and Benjamin made everything easy from the first meet and great, slowly introducing their dogs one at a time and then letting them all roam around their yard, to the first drop off. I worked with a group when I lived in Kansas City that did short term in-home dog fostering for 1 day to two weeks. My puppy experience comes from a few of my friends having puppies, but adult dogs are my favorite. I work full time from home, and can schedule walks in between meetings during the day. If the dog(s) are up for it I would love to take them hiking, SUPing, kayaking, to the beach, and to hang out with my friend's dogs.
