About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old and have grown up in a home filled with all types of animals, giving me lifelong hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I have 5 rescues dogs that make up one family. I work full-time during the day, but my evenings and weekends are dedicated to spending quality time with pets. I’m available after 530pm and on long weekends, and I always make sure they get the attention, play, walks, and care they deserve. If you dog is a bed sleeper, no problem. Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”

About: I have taken care of countless animals throughout my youth. I have owned 2 Goldens from puppies that lived till 11 and 14. I currently have 2 chocolate labs. I work till 3pm on weekdays and I'm at home on weekends. I am available to walk, feed, and play with your babies after work. Whatever requests are asked of me, I will oblige within my capabilities. Pets can be finicky and like things a certain way. Pet owners like to be reassured that their pet is safe.

“All I can say is I have found my PERFECT dog sitter. There was a sudden, heartbreaking death in my family. I was in a state of shock, needing to find care for our dogs while my husband and I travel to Oregon with our two kids within 48 hours. Luz was the third sitter I contacted and the first to write back. She responded quickly and was sympathetic to the situation. Her communication was thorough, letting me know she had another clients dog for a few more days and was willing to help. We messaged back and forth and I could tell her understanding of dogs was stronger than average. She spoke of prioritizing safety, boundaries, and was reassuring when I explained one of my dogs is pretty anxious and might need some space to feel safe if overwhelmed. I get nervous about my younger dog being in new spaces because she is so anxious. Luz updated me about how my dogs were settling in from the moment we dropped them off. From the start she took control of the process and was answering questions before I could ask them. I find this important to add because of how sensitive of a circumstance this was. I will only board one animal family at a time since I have a dog of my own. I am also a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. My husband comes home periodically on days I work so he can let your pups out to use the restroom. They will not be left outside by themselves when we are not home. I can feed your animals, give them fresh water, entertain them for the amount of time booked. I will also change out any potty pads placed/used and recrate, if required.

About: I currently work at a Vet clinic. I’ve been working here for a little under a year now, while previously working at PetSmart as a dog trainer. While working at PetSmart as the dog trainer I also helped on the fish wall and handling/caring for the small animals. I trained dogs of all ages for about 4-5 months before finding a job in the vet clinic which is what I have always dreamed of doing. I have the ability yo keep your pups schedule on track while they are in my care. I only work one a day week away from home ( I come home in my lunch break) and do property management from home on the side. My sister watches my son on the one day that I do go to work, so if your pet stays with me I would always be around or my sister would be at my home to let your pet outside, walk them, and care for their needs. :) I do not normally host more than one families pet/s at once but if I was going to, I would let both owners know before doing so and only with dogs that I had watched before and know that there would not be any issues. I offer pet/house sitting, I need to be able to bring my son with me & if possible I like to bring my shih tzu Cheech with me to boarding jobs. (But I do understand sometimes that isn’t an option. I don’t want any dog or cat feeling like their home is being invaded.) I have a small yard at my home to take dogs out but there isnt much running space if your dog is high energy. Luckily I do have a bike path right near by we can walk to for walks! If I have multiple dogs staying with me I do have the ability to separate them if necessary during eating, sleeping, or when I do run errands.

I will only board one animal family at a time since I have a dog of my own. I am also a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. I was in a state of shock, needing to find care for our dogs while my husband and I travel to Oregon with our two kids within 48 hours.
