About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since a young age, including raising guide dog puppies with my family. I’ve since owned dogs, cats, rodents, lizards, frogs, spiders, and fish so I can tackle many needs. I’m well-versed in basic pet first aid and dietary needs (having worked at a specialty pet shop that made its own healthy gourmet pet treats for several years). My own dogs have included a registered and trained therapy dog as well as my current rescue dog who I’ve trained through his struggles with anxiety and reactivity. He and I love outdoor adventures and being active! I’ve fostered over 20 dogs and cats through shelters of all shapes, sizes, and ages and can’t get enough. We'd meant the daycare to be temporary until our son returned from CA; but Haku loves it so much we plan to take him at least once a month. Our Eurasier is named Izzy and our Shitzu is named Bailey. They both get song well other dogs and love to play. We have a lot of experience with dogs and love them! I’m currently working from home so I’m open to taking care of the fur baby whenever, unless they’re staying with me I won’t walk dogs after 6:30. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.

I have my own puppy, so I’m used to the real, everyday moments: the energy, the routines, the messes, and all the love that comes with it. I can provide them with whatever special care they need such as vitamins or medication.

About: Trained with large dogs and no problems with little ones. I’ve cared for cats, birds, reptiles and more. I love taking walks and playing fetch. I also know how to give medications and care for elderly dogs as well. I love animals, especially dogs and appreciate being able to help them. I’m available daily for walks, feeding or check in’s every day of the week. I have a decently sized yard that is totally fenced in, even for little dogs. I have an attached garage as well as numerous baby gates. I have my own vehicle and I’m skilled at caring for others homes as well.
