“We felt so comfortable leaving Luna with Robin, and knew that she would be in great hands. We also appreciated Robin’s flexibility, as we changed the drop off/pick up time for Luna at the last minute. After we picked up Luna she was pooped and we knew she had great stay! Thank you Robin!”

“Charlie had a great time! Leaving him at home with a sitter caused him anxiety--he didn't want to be left alone and would stop eating. Instead, he stayed in a pet-friendly environment with 2 other dogs, and a couple cats. Stefanie was very responsive to my concerns about Charlie.”
About: Being an animal lover all my years and having at times, two 90+ lb. furbabies of my own from puppy to senior age, I am experienced in dog care. You can rest assured no matter where you are, near or far, you can count on me providing a loving environment, whether in your home or mine. Your furbaby(ies) will get lots of love and attention. Whether you're here or traveling abroad your furbabies are safe and well provided for. Personally, knowing from experience how hard it is to leave a pet in kennel style boarding with barking dogs all day. I'm a stay at home family, looking forward to making extra money while having a nice time together in a kind and loving home. I like to abide by routines to make your pups stay a fun experience that they will look forward to a return stay. Currently, my home has one sweet female dog who is looking for someone to enjoy watching the birds with from out screen porch. Playing in the yard or taking walks for exercise.
“This was my first time using Rover. I chose Kathrine B because of her GREAT reviews. I can’t say enough good things about Kathrine and her excellent care of my fur baby Annie! I got to do a meet and greet with Katherine and Annie and it went really well. Her home was clean, neat and odor free. I would highly recommend her, she even socialized my Annie which I am forever grateful! Looking forward to booking with Katherine again!!”

“Great experience! Sadie Rose stayed overnight and was very well cared for. We received photos and updates throughout her stay, which gave us peace of mind. She seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we picked her up. We would definitely book again!” 🐾💕”

“We left our puppy and our son’s puppy (sisters) with Jeffery and Gisselle and could not be happier. They are wonderful and took such good care of them both! I know that they were a handful being puppies and their first time away from home, but they both had a blast! Thank you for all the pictures and taking such good care of Marley and Khloe!”

“Mikaela was amazing! Flexible with our changing schedule. She sent us updates and photos multiple times throughout the day which made us feel more comfortable about leaving our fur baby behind. The kennels were spotless and the run area was large and well kept. We would definitely use her again.”

“Darby was so great for Pepper! She had some pups that our baby could play with and her Pepper loved playing with her kids too! We felt very comfortable with Pepper being there and have already planned our next visit!”

“Sandra does an outstanding job of taking care of our dog. She has boarded our dog twice for one-week stays. With a large, fenced-in yard, our dog has plenty of room to run. Sandra gives loving attention to our dog and provides pictures and videos. Sandra truly loves dogs, and I highly recommend her service.”

About: We provide dependable, loving care tailored to each pet's personality and needs. With patience, attention, and genuine compassion, we make pets feel safe, comfortable, exercised, and happy while their owners are away. We are semi-retired couple that have been in the area for over 8 years. We have plenty of time and experience to care for your pets. For hosting your pet at our home, we have an 8 year old hound dog mix that is unbelievably chill and he always loves to meet other dogs. We do have an extra large crate already if your dog requires/likes to be crated.
“This was my first time ever using a pet sitter and thank goodness I found Amanda!! Wow! She had an outstanding response rate to all of my texts and calls. She even sent me pictures of my dog to reassure me she was ok because she knew I was nervous about her being an escape artist. When I picked up my dog both times, my girl seemed so content & happy. Amanda and her husband have a big beautiful home and give lots of love and care to their animals. I’m using her anytime I’m in this area again. Such a relief 🦋”

“Was welcomed before I ever got out of my truck by this beautiful family. Could feel a peace and comfort in just our first few words. Once I got Ms Luna out you could see their care for dogs. While we were out of town they would send little videos and photos of just how well she was doing. In everyone Luna looked as happy as a new puppy. When I came to pick her up I would say she was happier and looked even better than when I left my house with her. If we need a sitter again, no doubt Stephanie will be our go to. Can't thank y'all enough for all you and your family did for Luna.”

“We and our puppy are thrilled to have found Licia and her partner. They are wonderful caring people who we can trust with our princess. Our recent experience was our first but it will certainly not be our last. Our only fear was that they treated our little girl so well that she would want to stay with them instead of coming home with us! I cannot say enough about how positive our experience was; it is such a relief to have found such safe and loving caretakers for our Miss LillyP.”

“Robin was a wonderful cat sitter for our senior cat during our vacation in Cleveland/Helen, Georgia. Our senior cat does not generally like people that aren't my or my husband, but Robin handled her with patience, kindness, and understanding. She respected our cat’s space while still making sure she was eating, drinking, getting her treats, and enjoying her favorite comfort items. Robin also graciously allowed us to visit and check in on our cat during the trip and was flexible with our schedules, which gave us such peace of mind. You can tell she deeply cares about the pets she watches. She cared for our cat for several overnights in a row, and throughout the experience she was warm, friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for places to visit around town while we were vacationing! We are grateful for Robin and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and compassionate pet sitter.”

About: I began my career in pet care over 27 years ago as a professional pet sitter, building a highly successful in-home service. As demand grew, I naturally transitioned into boarding select dogs in my home—an offering that quickly expanded beyond capacity. This growth led me to open and operate three pet hotels over a 25-year period. During that time, I furthered my expertise by becoming a Certified Canine Behavior Specialist and a Certified Fear Free Trainer, allowing me to better support dogs with a wide range of behavioral and emotional needs. In January 2024, I sold my final pet hotel and opened my current Training and Behavior Modification business in Clayton, GA. Over time, many of my training clients expressed interest in having their dogs stay in my home, and I found the experience both rewarding and impactful. As a result, I now offer exclusive in-home boarding as part of my services. My boarding program is intentionally different from traditional facilities. Dogs in my care are treated as members of the family, receiving daily enrichment, structure, and positive reinforcement of appropriate manners. I also offer training opportunities during their stay when appropriate. I specialize in working with anxious, fearful, and hyperexcitable dogs, providing a calm and supportive environment tailored to their needs. Because this is my home, I am selective about the dogs I accept to ensure a safe, harmonious environment for everyone. All dogs must be dog-friendly or neutral, with no history of aggression. Additionally, due to my 4-foot fencing, I am unable to accommodate dogs who are known fence jumpers. I am what you call, semi-retired. I sold my lasts pet hotel and moved to the mountains for a more relaxing lifestyle...which I have found! I make my own schedule and work as little or as much as I want to. My training business keeps me in our local community so I am never far from home. Mornings are always pretty much the same. I wake up around 7, make coffee, get the dogs out, feed the cats their wet food, and then spend some time catching up on training reports. While I'm doing this, I take breaks to let the dogs inside, take the cats remaining food to their feeding station, scoop their boxes and snuggle with them for a bit. Once the cats are taken care of, I prepare my dog's enrichment feeding puzzles and they get some enrichment time. Back to reports. When they are done eating, they get to digest for 30 minutes or so and then we head out for a walk down our beautiful mountain road. I am a strong believer in letting the dogs sniff. We go as far as we can in 30 minutes and then turn around and come back. Some days we make it a mile and a half, others, we only go a half mile. It is totally up to their sniffers. When we come home, everyone is usually beat and ready for a nap. If I have scheduled clients, I get ready and head out to see them. I am generally only gone for a couple hours before returning to let my dogs out for another potty break. This is the time we play outside. My dogs love to run and play with each other but they also love to play fetch. My yard is very large so there is plenty of space to throw a toy to let them run. When we come back in, it is time for cookie games. I like to play a game where as soon as a dog sits, they get a cookie. Mine already know this game and are fast sitters so when dogs visit, they learn how much fun this is too. Once cookies are handed out, we either hang out on the couch for snuggle time while I play games on my phone or if I have an afternoon client, I head out for another couple hours. My evening routine is pretty consistent as well as I am a home body. I love our mountain home and evenings are the best time to go out on the deck, grill up some dinner while the pups run around and then watch the beautiful sunset. I feed the dogs in the same manner as in the a.m. only in bowls this time. After 30 minutes, it back out to potty. My cats always find a way to fit into our daily routine by finding my lap or sitting on my table for head scratches while I do reports. After dinner and sunset, we either continue to hang out on the porch or head inside to relax on the couch until bedtime. Bedtime is around 10 p.m. and the dogs go outside one final time and then get their final cookie of the day. My dogs all sleep in bed with me and once the lights are out, the snoring begins. We have a 2 level home on 4 acres (1 acre fenced in) on the side of a mountain outside of Clayton, GA. Our closest neighbor is hidden up our long driveway behind a thick area of trees and then there is one down the mountain, off to the side. We live on a mountain, gravel road...you can't even see our house from this road due to the thick trees and distance from the road. We live with dogs and cats and our house shows this. Our leather couches are covered with blankets and cat claws have marred all the corners and edges. We have a custom-built cat activity center on our living room walls so the cats can get up high and look out over the mountains. The only carpets in the house are 1. by my bed so I don't step on a cold floor in the morning and 2. in each of the bathrooms for the same reason. We understand that puppies and dogs can have accidents so this house was built with that in mind. Our yard is fenced with 4 foot tall goat fencing which we had professionally installed to assure it is tight with no holes at ground level and at the gates. Dogs are always introduced to our yard by first taking a leashed walk around the perimeter to see how they behave around the fence. Once this is done, we allow the dogs to freely walk around the yard, dragging a long line. We are looking to see if your dog shows any interest in escape through either digging, climbing on the fence, or pushing at the gates. If your dog (new dogs) is only boarding for a few days, they will only go out with the long line on for safety. If they are boarding longer, we will remove the line if they are showing no interest in escape and let them run freely with our dogs. If your dog enjoys walks, they will receive one daily as long as they walk nicely on a leash. If they are hard pullers, I offer training services to help them learn better leash manners so they can be walked with the group. In my home, dogs are allowed as much freedom as possible. I have crates and pens and am happy to use these for management (especially if a puppy isn't house trained yet) as well as when I leave and for sleeping. Each dog is unique so there is no standard rule. All dogs are fed separately. My goal is that your dog feels at home in my home. I want them to have fun and feel safe while you are away so that you can enjoy your time away and not worry about them. My partner is a Veterinarian and so are several of my friends. I hope to never have to use their services but if I do, they are always ready and willing with advice and care. However, if something does happen that requires Vet care, your Vet will be contacted and used if possible. Of course, you will be notified immediately as well. Safety is always my first priority, followed very closely by fun and meeting all daily requirements.
“Angela took great care of our sweet boy. She was warm and welcoming. Bubba was allowed to have the roam of the house, just like when he is home. She has a large fenced backyard that he could play in. She read all the information I had posted in Rover prior to our arrival, so she knew what to expect. We were attending a wedding in the area, and do not live nearby, or she would be our “go to” sitter.”

About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture, scratchers and enrichment.
“Lynn had great communication, sent updates, and was very easy to work with. My dog has a great time and would totally trust her again. Nice area and very safe, fenced in yard, and she made it like home for my energetic pup. Thank you!”

“This was my second time booking Terri to watch my cats. She did a fantastic job! She is thorough and I can tell she cares for them well. They warmed up to her more this time and she was actually able to send photos of both cats--no more hiding :) Terri will definitely be my go-to sitter.”

“Belle was wonderful. We got a check-in every visit, with photos. She played with the cats and they seemed very content when we got back. Will book again when we take another trip in the future!”

About: Our home is 100% dog friendly. I have a poodle that lovingly shows the house to her guests so they feel comfortable upon arrival. She doesn't get her feelings hurt if a pup prefers their own space while staying here.

“Melanie is very good with the "fur babies". She takes the time to play with them and make them feel loved. She was prompt and timely on all her visits. She kept the house clean and orderly while we were away. I would highly recommend Melanie for any future "fur baby sitting" needs.”

“Taylor was excellent! He took great care of our senior cat, Jos, who can sometimes be very prickly around new people. He showed up on time, made sure Jos was fed and his litter boxes were cleaned, and followed all the directions we left for him. Taylor was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and I would definitely book him for pet care in the future.”

“Aaron went above and beyond for our kitty! She got sick just before we were scheduled to leave; he gave her medicine, and dealt with the unpleasant litter boxes that accompanied her illness. Thankfully that only lasted a few days. She is shy, and never let him get a good look at her, but he kept trying. Aaron is also an excellent communicator. He kept us apprised of her condition (as revealed by her litter boxes). We highly recommend Aaron and hope to have him as our sitter for the foreseeable future.”

“Adreahna took great care of our kitty, and our kitty warmed right up to Adreahna. She checked in and uploaded pics of her, which we lived. Kitty wasn’t even mad when we got home! Thank you!!”

“She is the best I’ve ever seen and I recommend her to anyone. Now I know where to take Gil when we go to casino. I love visiting this town-Bryson City. It is great. If u want to get anyone to sit or keep ur dog Michelle and Robbie are the best. I feel safe my dog is happy and having a blast.”

“Jesse does a great job of keeping the animals on schedule and I was so relaxed all day knowing he was coming by to check on them twice while we were at a ball game in Athens.”

“Stefanie could not have made Maximo’s first doggie daycare any better. She is fantastic and I couldn’t be more grateful. She also sent fabulous pictures and videos throughout and after the visit that confirmed that Maximo had a great experience.”

“Our pup totally enjoyed her day! She seemed so happy (and tired lol) when we picked her up. Luna was a great playmate! We got a ton of pics and videos to see how her day was going. Kristen was so very sweet to us and our furbaby. We know she was well cared for and will rebook here again 💜”

“We had our three dogs spend a day with Kathrine while we were visiting the North Georgia Wildlife & Safari Park during a week long stay at Unicoi State Park. They say they each give Ms. K four paws up for a fantastic visit for a total of 12 paws up. We unfortunately got a flat tire just before reaching her house, so we had to do a tire repair there and we got to see how quickly our pups calmed down around her as a new person and being in a new location. We definitely would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: I bring a lifetime of hands, on experience and a naturally calm presence. I’ve cared for dogs and cats at every stage of life, from puppies and kittens to seniors, starting with volunteering at a veterinary hospital at age 12. I’m especially good at reading animals and helping them feel at ease in a new environment. I work from home, and pet care is part of my everyday routine. Being around animals, caring for them, and paying attention to their needs is second nature to me. The best part of my day is dog walks and cuddles. I focus on helping pets feel comfortable and secure. I stick closely to what they’re familiar with and take my cues from the animal. 💛
“We love Licia and Pete and are SO GRATEFUL to have such a pup-loving couple to hand our precious Sachie off to when we go rafting. Wish we could tip more, but River only allows so much. I always get a check in call from Licia to confirm all details early on (so I don’t have to initiate the call!) and our little baby comes back super happy and well-taken care of. Thank you sooo much for another great rafting trip! We appreciate you!!!”
