About: I had a 13 year old husky/shepherd mix with separation anxiety and an 18 year old cat with diabetes, so I know how important it is for proper care and attention. I have experience with several breeds of all sizes. I currently have a flexible schedule and would love to help take care of your pet. About: Welcome to your dog's safe, happy, and fun-filled home away from home. I have loved and cared for my own pets for decades, and have spent the past 5 years caring for others' furry family members. I'm an experienced dog walker and trainer, and am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I have 3 years of experience training dogs and puppies, including working with reactive and fearful pups. Regardless of your dog's particular quirks, they are welcome here! I am an experienced foster, dog walker, and trainer for the local humane society. I am confident managing dogs with behavioral issues, including reading body language, and keeping dogs separate from other animals if they require that. I am comfortable giving medication, both orally and via injections, and I will give patient and loving care to your sick or senior dogs who need a little extra love. I am happy to keep up with any training while you're away (be it puppy training, potty training, obedience work, or leash manners.) Your dog will enjoy at least one solid walk every day (either on his own, or joining my two dogs for a pack walk). 🦴🥎 Secure Playtime! Your dog will love romping and playing in my fenced backyard, lounging under the trees, and splashing in the doggy pool. All playtimes are well-supervised, to ensure everyone is well-mannered and safe. 💤 Quiet private space: There are two doggy guest suites set up in my home, complete with their own bed, crate, food & water dishes. This ensures that your dog can relax during naptimes, meal-times, and bedtimes, without any other pups bothering them. 🏠 Part of the family When your dogs are here, they're part of the pack, and I'll care for them just like my own dogs. This means equal access to couches, dog beds, belly rubs, and frisbees. Depending on your dog's needs, they may join my dogs in the house and yard, or they may get their own solo couch time & play time, if they prefer not to be around other dogs. Whatever makes them feel at home, that's what we'll provide.

I’m a huge animal lover, especially dogs. Growing up with dachshunds, I fully understand that every pet has their own unique and fun personality, and I’d love to see it during my time with them. I don’t just “watch” pets - I connect with them. Whether your pet has high energy, is shy, curious, or a little sassy, I take the time to learn their personality so they feel safe, comfortable and truly cared for while you’re away. My goal is to make you feel 100% comfortable and for your pets to be happy, cared for, and loved as if they were my own. I work a typical 9-5 with a decent amount of flexibility. Early mornings, mid afternoon and late evenings are the best but with enough notice, everything is flexible. Under my care, your pets will be given all the attention, love, and time they need. Detailed photos/ updates will never be an oversight on my part.

“This was my first time using Rover, so I did not really know what to expect. Glynis surpassed all of my hopes! She took such good care of Buster - sent me photos everyday, sent me updates on how he was doing, and she made sure that he enjoyed himself. I would give her 6 stars! She made sure to know and follow his routine. He is relatively new to my home, as he was a rescue and had only been with me a couple of months. From his behavior when we got home, I know he was made to feel secure and cared for while he stayed with Glynis and her family. While he was happy to see me when I returned, I doubt that he missed me, as he had such positive experiences, as did I. I highly recommend her!”
“I got more than what I bargain for! I was only looking for a sitter for a quick trip over the weekend, and hoping that they would be patient enough with a dog which I just adopted from the shelter with who knows what trauma he had; I landed on a professional! This was my first experience and a pleasant one as well! FYI this is not a drop off service! I appreciated the time that Joshua took to ask me as much as I knew about my "new" dog. After a couple of minutes he says “he has dog in him", which for me meant that he accepts and was looking forward to getting to know him. Besides the basic questions, allergies, vet info and all, he genuinely asked about "my" concerns. I appreciated that. During my time away he volunteered updates on how my Buddy was doing, even had breathtaking photoshoot! Buddy was looking fierce and sexy! (see pics in album with red and blue collars : ) My greatest appreciation was the feedback when I returned. Buddy was at his best behavior and Joshua also shared his thoughts on Buddy's true potential. After sharing my habits at home with Buddy, as a professional trainer, Joshua pointed out the does and don'ts and why they were important which was very helpful! He shared commands and how to execute and reinforce them, and helpful items I could purchase to help with training at home. I won't write a book here, but to sum it all up, I won't turn anywhere else, Joshua is "my go to" for the future. Thank you Joshua!”
