Koko is a curious hound who enjoys smelling everything, and this farm has lots of unique smells! What impressed me the most was Chris/Kristy's cats and dogs interactions with them, me, and Koko. They have the most loving pets and you can tell that they are well taken care of. Once I saw this, I knew Koko was in good hands. Their pets are great role models for any puppy/dog to learn socially appropriate behaviors with other animals and with people. During each visit, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get potty breaks, and enjoy playtime or a nice walk to release energy. I always follow each owner’s routine and care instructions closely — from feeding times to favorite toys and walking routes. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, and to keep you updated with photos and messages after every visit.
About: I have work experience at a pet store and have worked with many different pets and animals! I have been relied on to take care of their various needs. Such as cleaning up after messes, doing feeding schedules, play-time, etc. I also have grown up around all animals. There’s never been a moment in my life where I was pet-less. I have 3 cats and 1 dog myself, and other family members even have whole reptile rooms. Needless to say, I’m an avid animal lover and owner. I do currently work part-time! With enough notice however, It’s fairly easy for me to make time for pet sitting, dog walking, bathroom breaks, etc. Animals are a priority. I am very communicative. If by any chance I run into any questions or bumps in the road, I will give a phone call or send a text message. I never want any pet parents to be “out of the loop.” I work very well with treat training or praise. If I need to crate an animal, I prefer positive reinforcement. I treat animals how I would want to be treated! I love meeting dogs or cats first to establish some trust or a comfortable relationship. A decent conversation with an owner would work as well.

“I'm going to try not to make this too long....This is my first time using Rover, but not my first sitting service, and I can't say enough about this amazing family. I'm hoping Koko and I can both stay next time. They need a guest room, but I guess that defeats the point of having a sitter. LOL. I am very appreciative of this unique experience that was afforded to Koko (5 month African Hound) to be able to spend time on Chris/Kristy's amazing farm. Koko is a curious hound who enjoys smelling everything, and this farm has lots of unique smells! What impressed me the most was Chris/Kristy's cats and dogs interactions with them, me, and Koko. They have the most loving pets and you can tell that they are well taken care of. Once I saw this, I knew Koko was in good hands. Their pets are great role models for any puppy/dog to learn socially appropriate behaviors with other animals and with people. We are at homeschooling family so we can be available all day with your pet(s). Round the clock potty breaks and attention are easily available. I was only looking for a sitter for a quick trip over the weekend, and hoping that they would be patient enough with a dog which I just adopted from the shelter with who knows what trauma he had; I landed on a professional! This was my first experience and a pleasant one as well! FYI this is not a drop off service! I appreciated the time that Joshua took to ask me as much as I knew about my "new" dog. After a couple of minutes he says “he has dog in him", which for me meant that he accepts and was looking forward to getting to know him. Besides the basic questions, allergies, vet info and all, he genuinely asked about "my" concerns. I appreciated that. During my time away he volunteered updates on how my Buddy was doing, even had breathtaking photoshoot! Buddy was looking fierce and sexy! Buddy was at his best behavior and Joshua also shared his thoughts on Buddy's true potential. After sharing my habits at home with Buddy, as a professional trainer, Joshua pointed out the does and don'ts and why they were important which was very helpful! He shared commands and how to execute and reinforce them, and helpful items I could purchase to help with training at home. I won't write a book here, but to sum it all up, I won't turn anywhere else, Joshua is "my go to" for the future. Thank you Joshua!”

We have great reviews and repeat fur babies! We are both stay at home parents to 2 great homeschooled kids! We are able to be around your pet 24/7! Your fur baby will not be left without supervision! We have a fenced in area specifically for your pet - roughly 1 acre. We have 5 acres total to walk your fur baby and keep them entertained! We also offer oversized kennels for them to sleep in at night in a climate controlled room.
