I absolutely hate leaving them and typically worry the whole time I'm away, but after the meet and greet I knew they would be well cared for and safe. They both liked her immediately which is extremely rare for one of them. That same cat doesn't do well with being left, she's always extremely clingy and lethargic when we return home. About: I have had dogs most my life. As an adult, I have had 3 pit bulls and a cane corso. Between them, I am very familiar with medical needs, puppies, and elderly dogs. Before children, my husband and I fostered bully breeds. Currently, I have been dog sitting on Rover for over a year. I have worked with many breeds of cats and dogs and understand each one can be uniquely different. What works for one may not always work for another. I’m retired navy so I have all day to work with your animals. I can do drop ins throughout the day to check on them to let them out or take on a walk. Pretty flexible schedule. In my home I have a 5 year old husky who has been raised around cats and puppies. He is good at helping correct puppies. He has had one litter of his own pups. I do not have a fenced yard, but can take them on leash in the yard and live in a nice neighborhood to walk your animal. If you want crate training I have a couple already here at the house

About: I have had dogs since 2013. I had three, I currently have two. One of them had epilepsy, this gave me experience with seizures and administering medicine. I also worked at a doggy day care for 1 year, there I cared for large groups of dogs. We fed them, changed out water 4-5 times a day, picked up after them and played with them. I'm knowledgeable about dog behavior and how to avoid situations that would be harmful. I know to test the pavement heat before a walk on hot days. I'm currently seeking steady employment but am wanting to make this my steady job. I'm available during the week from six am to 5 pm I'm currently unable to pet sit in my home. I’ve always had such empathy for animals, that on multiple occasions I have done this. For example, last year there was a man handing out free puppies outside of a petco. I almost immediately took him home. The feeling of taking him and giving him a bath, food, and water was so rewarding. I’ve since realized I love working with animals and wish to continue my work. I would absolutely love to help you out with watching your pet while you’re away. I’m currently attending college out of town Tuesday-Thursday but I am available at any time any other day of the week. I’m also available for Masters week In my home, I have one dog of my own, and I have a fenced in yard. My dog loves to swim, so if yours does too I’m happy to watch them while they swim. I’ve had a lot of experience with crates so I’m equipped to handle them. No matter what, I just want your pet to be safe and comfortable while you’re away!

About: I’ve always been drawn to dogs since I was a little girl. I am unable to walk down the street and not ask to pet any dog I see. While new to using rover, I am not new to caring for dogs. I dog sit for all my friends and give them all the love, attention, walks, and treats that they deserve. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ranging from young to old, big and small, various personalities, energy levels and administrating medications.
