I always come prepared with treats and toys as well. I usually arrive at the client's house, let the pet introduce themselves to me naturally (no threatening behavior, no forced petting, no loud or excited talking, just let them get to know me!) and then hang out in their space for a bit, offering treats if allowed, letting them get used to me, then going on with the routine of feeding, walking, etc, if I'm allowed to groom them, once they're used to my presence, I'll begin that, making sure to stop immediately if they seem upset or threatened! I always end our day together with some treats/food and spending some time with them!

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture,scratchers and enrichment.

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

They will always be safe, they will always be loved both individually and as a group ! I have trained my own my furry babies over the years ! The little ones get branded not so good but I see the best in them all and attend to their individual needs when they come into my home they become a member of my family and receive the love and attention they need !!! I have the priveleage of being home to ensure that each sweetie that comes into my home is attended to both with love and any care they will require anywhere from young puppy to our senior babies who will require more attention in regards to medicine massages for their joints and simply love I have a fenced yard to accommodate small dogs I have one myself who is 7lbs. She is friendly to all new guests! And when I take her out to either potty or to just get free run exercise in my yard I stay with her. I do not leave her outside unattended for not even one second I interact and engage with her both indoors and outdoors with play and love !

Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. If not, there is plenty of room to entertain inside. We allow our dogs to relax on the furniture and welcome visitors to it as well; The couch is our favorite place to snuggle! I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. My senior boy is on oral medication; I've also administered medication to others in the past. “Tiffany watched our cat during the Thanksgiving holiday. We were coming up from Florida to have Thanksgiving with my family and our kitty couldn't come because of all the dogs. He's a sensitive guy and isn't used to being away from his dog brother so we really wanted to make sure he was coddled (lol) and felt comfy in a quiet space and she definitely made sure he got what he needed. She updated us multiple times a day and it was so helpful to know he was safe. If we are ever back up in that area, we would def book her again.
