About: I owned cats for my entire childhood and part of my adult life. Once I got married I wasn’t able to get another cat since my husband is allergic. I miss taking care of an adorable cat! I love their aloof personalities and the trust you have to gain with them to get them to open up. I had a cat I rescued when I was younger who absolutely hated me at first but I knew cats are a slow race with a very rewarding. After many cans of wet food she became my best friend! About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. About: I have always had a soft spot in my heart for dogs. I have carried this love into adulthood and I enjoy having them in my life. When your four-legged family member is with us they will be treated as one of the family. They will be doted upon and they will be constantly engaged, touched, and talked to. We go for walks in our 1-acre fenced backyard, which facilitates safe rewarding exploration and discovery. We allow the visitors to play and interact with our loving and friendly standard poodles who are great role models to each other and to visiting pooches. Even though your baby will be on their doggie Vaca, We will still use every opportunity to encourage learning, good manners, and good behavior by giving treats and positive reinforcement throughout the day. Stability, engagement, routine, and structure makes a happy dog and we aim to make sure that every four-legged friend who lodges with us, is happy and never wants to leave. Our resident babies eat twice per day and are allowed out for potty breaks three times per day. If it is a rainy day we do indoor activities in our 35x40 temperature controlled dog suite and we even watch a little "Dog TV" We have a great time, rain or shine! Sleeping arrangements will depend on what your baby is comfortable with but we do not allow our pets on the furniture or in our beds (at least when daddy is around). We have kennels but we allow the dogs to sleep anywhere they want to in the dog suite. I am a retired nurse and I am always home so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs in my day. We have a huge fenced in backyard where all the dogs enjoy their time outdoors. We also have plenty of equipment in the yard for their enjoyment.

Lack of exercise is one of the main contributors to "destruction" in and around the house. If I am walking your dog, we are walking - not sniffing around. I am pretty fit for an old man! With other client's dogs, I can generally walk a mile in 17-20 minutes. If I am boarding, I will "entertain" your pup with games, walks, fetch and plenty of other outside time as much as possible. I live on a nice quiet street that will be safe for them. Give me a call to get things set up for your pooch! I have had dogs off and on (mostly on) since I was 8 years old. A daily routine to take care of dogs is nothing new to me. In fact, it is important to me to have a structured schedule for feeding, potty time, playtime, etc. so the time is easier on human and canine. I try to have a pretty rigid schedule so the dog knows what’s going on and approximately when it will take place. Daily walks and/or play time is daily on my quiet street or in my fenced in backyard. Taking care of dogs is basically what I do 24/7. I am a dog trainer so basically dogs, not just my own, are my life and my livelihood. I have a fenced yard and a dog of my own. I will not just open the door and let the dogs run out to play. I am out there with them every step of the way. I am mindful about whether certain dogs get along or not. My friend was busy in graduate school and working part time, so she asked me take care of Koda in the mornings and evenings when she could not make it home in time. That included walking Koda and feeding Koda. Those responsibilities grew to taking Koda to the vet when necessary. I learned a lot about dogs, and I am able to handle taking care of dogs. About: Hello! I’m Logan and I live in Loganville, Georgia. I’ve been around animals my whole life. I have previously worked at a dog and cat kennel in Loganville for 3 years and have been a Rover user for around 8 years while also doing private caregiving for many pets throughout my life from Dogs/Cats, Birds, Horses and Goats, Chickens, Reptiles..You name it! When it comes to my property, I have a trail in the woods behind my home that my family has cleared. I also have a large fenced in backyard that dogs love! About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old. Which has lead me into the field of being a veterinarian technician. Which I have been doing going on 6 years now. Now looking for another aspect of the vet field of helping your fur baby or babies. I do work full time but have Friday-sunday off as my regular schedule. About: I have been around animals my whole life and I love them! I have a 4 year old kitty named Bunny and she is everything to me. My best friend has a mini Australian shepherd that is very friendly and I love being around him. I also have watched my brother and sister in law’s dogs for 2 years now. They ranged from having 4-8 dogs at different points and I would love to go stay with them, feed them, and get to play with their fluffy selves! I am working limited hours at this time, so I am available weekdays 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.- 9 p.m., and also weekends any time! I will monitor the animals needs and be there in any way I am needed. I will take them outside as much as directed, feed them, make sure they have water, and love on them!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and i have taken care of others dogs for years. I have my own fur babies and I can’t imagine my life without them. I have such a deep love for all animals which is so important when owning and caring for pets. They are part of the family. Friends and family always know that they can rely on me to give their fur babies the best care and a cozy home away from home. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily life because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I don’t have a traditional work schedule, so I’m able to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, giving them plenty of affection, and simply having them around while I go about my day. I’m able to be flexible with their individual routines and make sure they get regular bathroom breaks, meals, exercise, and lots of attention. I know every dog has their own personality and comfort level, so I like taking the time to get to know each pet and make them feel safe and at home. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel like they’re getting a fun, comfortable visit with a friend rather than simply being away from their family. I have a comfortable, dog-friendly home where pets can relax and feel at ease. What’s mine is theirs. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, so I always take dogs outside on a leash and make sure they get regular walks and bathroom breaks. I’m happy to adjust walks and activity levels based on each dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. My home is also all on one level, which makes it a safe and comfortable environment for dogs of all ages and abilities. I’m especially mindful of dogs who may have mobility limitations or breeds that are more prone to back problems. I have dogs of my own(one being a mini dachshund), so I’m very comfortable caring for pets and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ll give each pet plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and supervision while they’re in my care, and I’ll do my best to make them feel like part of the family while they’re here.
